Which hour of dialysis we can start exercise
@AnjDttr429
@AnjDttr429 2 ай бұрын
Some study suggests that stretching leg exercises can be perform towards the end of 2nd hour as muscle cramps usually occurs between the middle and last hour of dialysis session. Hope it helps.

This in part is a wonderful story. Unfortunately for those of us that suffer with kidney failure the story creates so many questions, but does not answer any. Fresenius I believe is a commercial enterprise so this video is more an advertisement for Fresenius rather than a story of triumph. This person is deeply religious and I believe this has emotionally and spiritually supported her throughout her 50 year dialysis journey, although I cannot understand how a merciful Supernatural being would inflict such misery on a believer. Why she didn’t get a transplant is not addressed. She may have had other underlying health conditions that prevented that as she mentioned earlier in the video that as a child she was of poor health. It would have been helpful if this was explained why there was no transplant. Why she is only in her late 60s and in a wheelchair is also not addressed. I suggest that the years of dialysis have ravaged her body to the extent that this is the cause of her current poor health or again there are other health issues that have not been explained. To those posters who are questioning the money side of how she could afford 50 years of dialysis, this lady lives in my home state of South Australia. Australia for many, many years even back when this lady was a young woman has offered free or near free health care to its citizens. Australia has a socialised medicine system. An Australian citizen can walk into any public hospital and receive free care.

Thank you for your question. These exercises are designed to be done in a chair because some of them require sufficient space to make it safe for patients to move. Remember to always check with your Doctor first before starting any exercise program.

Harmless part of the virus? How do you know it is harmless?
@dmdiaries7208
@dmdiaries7208 Жыл бұрын
Viruses are harmful because they inject dangerous DNA into our cells. This DNA can mess with each "host" cell's genetic code, which disrupts the processes that allow our bodies to function properly. This is done to force host cells to reproduce copies of the virus, basically copying itself until it spreads to every cell it can. As far as I know, the proteins of a virus generally don't produce DNA on their own; the DNA is generated by one specific protein that copies an older version of the viral DNA. Without that, you don't have a virus, and you don't have the DNA that does the nasty things that viruses do. If you want to learn more, I've linked an article I found that goes into detail about coronavirus protein subunit vaccines (some of which are more than 92% effective as of 2022 - not perfect but that's pretty impressive). Sorry if I'm replying pretty late, but I don't mean any malice; I only recently learned some of this stuff myself, but I think it's fascinating. here's the article: "A Comprehensive Review of the Protein Subunit Vaccines Against COVID-19" www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9329957/ (published July 14, 2022)
