What would be the longest training run for an event like this?(obviously including hills) was thinking about 50k but that's gone so looking at training plan of 5 months plus, with a base fitness of around 30 miles in march.

Salve ,io vorrei sapere se puoi aiutarmi quanto tempo ci vuole per scalare tutte le sette vette in un giorno?ho una preparazione base da che parte conviene partire?per me sarebbe un grande sogno grazie

If you're walking I'd plan for 7-10hrs. I would start on the Muckish side as it's nice to finish on top of Errigal, either way it'll be a tough climb to finish. It's a really great route, hope you enjoy!

Great video and well done! The almost complete lack of smoother, runnable sections, on top of the elevation gain (and some brutal descents!) make this a tough place to run. I 'only' did the 50k...must remember not to book next years race whilst drinking so I don't get punchy and book the 165 :-)

You didn't pick an easy first 100K! Congratulations on your finish. I made it to Glen Dana this year, but I will be back...

Great video, I just did the Ring of Steall (my first mountain/sky running race) and looking at doing this next year :)

I did both this year. Scafell SR is a lot more low key than ROS, but a great challenging course. Doing it again next year.

omg everything about this is perfect: the music, the suspense, that sunset, your captions, those graphics at the end, little glimpse of Janet, Colin saying how's it going as if he hadn't just been running for 15 hours
