Thank you so much. I had a little better luck than you. When I took everything apart, I was able to just add more chain. I NEVER could have done it without you. ❤

I did exactly what you did with the same lamp that you have and one week after my lamp stop working. Do you know how to fix a lamp that won't turn on anymore?

Should you turn the unit on or off when charging ping the boost charger?

A UniBit works better to drill the hole as it will not get caught and elongate the hole. The kit I bought had instructions that said depending on the make of gas can I might use with the new spout the coarse thread cap, the fine threaded cap or the can's original cap. After drilling is complete always turn the can upside down to let fall out any small piece(s) of plastic that may be inside the can. Maybe also look inside via a flashlight.

Thank you, sir. I needed to re-box this thing and couldn't remember how it all was inside. I had two cars with dead batteries that this thing didn't do diddly. No lights. No door ding. I'll just get a new battery for my old jump box.

Since it has no filter it goes straight to the blow... Oh man mines feels clogged it definitely must be that, thank you so mucho for the video!
picked up a lamp from the curb yesterday because it was exactly what I wanted for my living room, and it works great except for the broken chain. asked around for advice and someone recommended this video. what the heck, it's literally the same lamp you're working on. guess they make them with crappy chains? or you got tired of yours and put it out on the curb last weekend 😂

If you're going to quote something say the whole quote for those in the back. See the "Jack of trades but a master of none" is often used to insult people in the Handyman trade. But if you use the whole quote it puts the power of the meaning back in the hands of the Handyman. It goes "A Jack of all trades and a master of none, is often better than a master of one." Now it has new meaning to those who don't know the whole quote. I'd rather be able to do multiple things and not be a master at any of them, than to be a master of only one them and not be able to do anything but that one thing.

Before you even think about posting an instructional video on "anything", you might wanna consider learning about the product yourself, thus so you don't mislead others to make costly or even dangerous mistakes. This one is not a tool for the "uninformed", this tool will take your life, inform yourself!!!

I just called mercedes of seattle and they said it would be 2200 for an alternator and new battery i have a mercedes cls55 amg and i wanted to ask if its in the same place as the cls500
@grumpy_dad_diy Жыл бұрын
I would guess the battery is in the same place. Mercedes is usually puts the battery either in the trunk or under the back seat passenger side. Now your engine is a a different version, I would guess it would be in a similar place but you will have to look and find it. But here is a warning - if you replace the battery yourself some functions of the car will not work properly until you re-program the car to the new battery. With the alternator you will have no problems. This is how the corporations get you now, all the new cars have computers running them. I would suggest replacing the alternator yourself and taking it in for the battery, really there is no way around it. Hope this helps
