The 80 ohms version is quieter on my laptop than my M40X (25% is still very acceptable for games on both headphones), but volume-wise it performs exactly the same on phones and some other non-laptop/PC devices. I'm not sure how well they do on consoles though.

Stomp user (and Pod-Go) - recently bought an FM3 -- the Stomp is great for gigs and is a bump up from the Pod-Go, but the Fractal is on another level, no question; I can tweak and tweak to get something good on the Stomp but with the Fractal it starts at a sonic place that's just killer! And the effects are not even comparable - the clarity just hits you in the face. I still use the Stomp for convenience on a Nano board, but at home it's the Fractal that makes me smile instantly. For programming the Line 6 is sweet, you have to learn the Fractal - but it can do anything -- anything you want, and it always sounds awesome. We live in amazing times!!

Teringat aku Gersang kena baling telur 2 biji masa Pesta Taiping sekitar 87-88. Gersang band last main di pesta yg berlangsung 30 hari tu. Mamat yg baling telur tu lari lepas telur tu kena papan bumbung stage. Dia lari betul2 lalu depan aku dlm crowd lebih 4-5 ratus org tu. Klu dia hidup lagi bleh la dia komen sini. Zaman rock tu Gersang mmg jadi band kebencian mat rock lelaki tp di kalangan peminat wanita Gersang mmg idola diorg. Aku tpksa lepak di tapak pesta smpai pagi sbb bas dah xde. Esok pagi aku tinjau stage penuh dgn bunga dgn kad utk Gersang & Man Bai dari peminat wanita, i luv u bagai diorg tulis dlm kad tu....huh nostalgai beb klu dikenang

Why don’t musicians in Malaysia support Ceriatone? Joe Branko and Man Kidal just to name a few. They’re still using Marshalls. Even Eddy uses Blackstar. Most probably sponsorship Ceriatone is not keen on. These amps are priced near Marshalls I think. Wanted to get one Ceriatone but got the SC20H instead as price was nearly the same.

Yea, they are still relevant because they are everywhere. No, they probably shouldn’t be relevant in this day and age because they’re outdated and outperformed by other mics on their price bracket. The only reason people still use them so much is because they’ve been so common for so long that everyone just feels comfortable and familiar with them. Performers are used to performing on them and audio engineers have gotten used to EQ’ing them to make them actually sound decent. The SM58 straight out of the box is trash by modern standards, though. The only area where they’re still top tier is their durability when it comes to handing abuse. Obviously a legendary mic that’s earned its place in history, but it should honestly be retired.
