I remember watching this with my friend, who has since then passed away. We were switching back between games, only to be shocked in those last 2 minutes. I'll never forget this moment. Because despite playing for an inferior team, Messi was still able to compete with Lewandowski numbers wise and completely dominated him in other stats like playing making, passes, etc. Messi also winning the Copa America with a dominant display and Lewandowski doing nothing in the Euros was the final nail in the coffin for his Balon Dor hopes

@@afckingwizard6628 You could argue if it was the best performance of all time in a world cup. There have been many great performances before him. But you cant argue with what Haaland had archived. Breaking the goal record of a league thats ~130 years old. He did not only break it, he smashed it. And on top of that, he played that for an entire season. I mean its pretty obvious for me, that Haaland should have won. What else could he have done more? He won the tripple that season and smashed that record, there is literally nothing more he could have done as a player from Norway.
