Is it just me or can anyone else hear hedwig’s theme carried through parts of this song? Like if you sing it in your head it seems to fit beautifully (except not sure about the middle section where it modulates). I know it’s been influenced by “when Ginny kissed Harry”, but it also feels like it’s been mashed up with hedwig’s theme as well.. idk if it’s too obvious but I couldn’t find anyone who’s mentioned it yet

After I heard this song constantly repeating while I was in Feldcroft, I had to see if I could find it on KZbin just to listen to it, and I can. I love the music. It's so good, and surprisingly, the cello parts remind me of Xenoblade Chronicles when you are exploring the Eryth Sea. It definitely sounds similar to my ears. Maybe it starts on the same note as the Eryth Sea theme does. But above all, I really enjoy the soundtrack of Hogwarts Legacy, I just don't like the constant crashes or the ridiculously long loading times, even when loading in the graphics. It always ruined my experience of the game because I found a lot of points in the game that are still broken or take five minutes to load in everything, even with the recent update. But when you can explore the open world that lasts for hours without a single crash, I can forgive them for it. Making a smooth open-world game is next to impossible.

Everyone is getting Thomas Newman vibes, but I personally am hearing hints of Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Which by the way still stands as the most beautiful gaming experience I’ve ever had in 25 years. A game with great music instantly gets a lot of respect from me, and I think most people would agree.

If the story was just more cinematic and interesting, I don’t think I’d ever stop playing. Absolutely jaw dropping gorgeous and had incredible animations and graphics.

in the game i stay at the common room to study irl and soak in the music. usually for 2-4 hours, just to imagine I am really there, ya know? it wasnt like in the films where this is a dark place under water, honestly underated cozy af and art deco-ish. I loved this place of the requirement room, sometimes I just stay there observing my creature in this beautiful landscape. It's also make me think of this last scene in Narnia in the last movie where Caspian, Lucy, Edmund, Eugene and the mouse are in front of Aslan and his country, even if it was the end of a journey at this time, there is this warm and calm feeling. I don't know it brings back memories.

My initial playthrough was in my house (Ravenclaw) and I'm on my second playthrough and chose to do Slytherin. I really wanted to see the Gryffindor and Hufflepuff common rooms so I started a Gryffindor playthrough last weekend and will probably do it again for Hufflepuff. I don't know if I'll play the whole game 4 times at this point but I do know some of the quests are a little different if you're in a different house. Of the 3 I've seen, Ravenclaw's common room is still my favorite with Slytherin being second and Gryffindor 3rd. I love this music though--very relaxing and calming.
