(I have just started reading the Bible and am still reading through Genesis, I’m Catholic). The Bible in Genesis 2:18 speaks of Eve/woman as “helper”, also to mean “nourish” or “sustain”, and God Himself is also called helper. I love this. Our God is a loving and nurturing father. Our bodies require a sx, but the spirit does not. Perhaps He and Helper is just to express just how men and women are both made in His image in a way our small minds can understand? @Faith Talks, can you speak to this?
