Thanks for this demo that uses current best practises. I would also replace your @Prepersist method with just @CreationTimestamp annotation for the createdAt field. Should do the same.

@devtiro 15 күн бұрын
Hello! The source code is attached to each lesson on the community site, you can find it all zipped up in the files section (icon in the top right of the lesson page). You can choose to build along on your own project or download the latest iteration with each lesson, the choice is yours 🙂 If you're looking for the frontend code specifically, you can find that on the lesson "Source Code" at the start. Hope this helps 👍

@@devtiro perfect thanks! I was looking in a Study section. Though it is not clear why some courses are in the Study section and others are in Build. Just another question.: If I will follow through the Task Tracking app, will I learn anything new from the Blog platform course? From the first glance I do not see any new topics in the Blog course agenda.

this is absolutely brilliant, thank you so much for explaining everything, like maven etc. I'm currently enlisted in a Java course and, sadly, our tutors just fly by everything like "yeah you need to use maven, don't worry about it, then here's the lombok thing and.. as you can see it works. Now everyone go and try it out" and I'm like wtf is all this

Dear students, Should you encounter an error similar to "o.h.engine.jdbc.spi.SqlExceptionHelper : SQL Error: 0, SQLState: 28P01" or any other error telling you that the password is not accepted or that SCRAM-SHA-256 is required or similar errors, double check that you do not posses a working Postgres instance on your physical host. I have spend hours trying to figure-out what the hex was wrong just to figure out that port 5432 was already occupied by a regular Postgres instance and every time the current Task-Tracker is started, it tries to inject the password not into the docker containerized instance of Postgres but into another process that listens to the very same port. I have spend hours trying to figure out how to find where the images are stored in the "docker.desktop for Windows", how to obtain access to the container, how to install vi/vim/gedit or any other editor for this container in order to edit the pg_hba.conf to make it match the "server request for SCRAM-SHA-256" connection. So if you have previously installed Postgres DB on your system you will be screwed with this project config. To avoid this, make sure you find and kill any process with the name "postgres.exe". You can run a simple cmd command like: "netstat -ano | findstr 5432" that will show you all processes that are currently listening to post 5432 on your system. Once you find the process ID start the windows task manager and identify the process names. There should be only one process listening to port 5432. In case you have an active process called "postgres.exe", you should kill(end) it. And make sure only process with a name "com.docker.backend.exe" is present in order for this project to work. Or I guess you could simply define different ports in the .yml and .properties files to avid port conflicts.
