10 bells john taylor tenor 22-2-cwts 2 of the bells are newer which are the trebles the rest in 1959 hung on 2 tiers the frame is also newer it was built last year

Definitely worth the walk up the steep hill !.The parishioners are also very welcoming.

I always enjoy it, probably for nostalgic reasons but it was good fun. Didn't get chance to go into town so I don't know how that has fared since I was last there a few years ago

Last time i went to the Towers i came to the same conclusion as you. The gardens were in a right state. That was 8 yrs ago and it doesn't seem to have changed. Ive a long history with the Towers cos my Grandad was the master potter there for many years and I hate to see the real heritage of the place being allowed to just crumble. Very sad.

Yes, it truly heart-breaking but I hope that in some small way by writing my novel and creating a series on its history and heritage(out spring 2024)that people will become more aware of its importance and value. Oh that’s such a lovely connection you have through your Grandad, wonderful.

Very sad but the tourists will be back. As a kid I thought that Gt Yarmouth was magical.
