What carb are you going yo run?

@KeeperofTheMountain I found a two barrel side draft carb. I think it fits a Volkswagen. 45mm. 45 DCOE L28 engine I hope to drill and tap it right onto the plenum where the throttle body is.

You get a BIG A + for your video, it helped through every step of the install that I did when my propane stove arrived !!!!! Thank you !!! I had two plumbers here and because I had watched your video twice, I sent them home and did the work myself and saved a bundle. Nice job my friend !!!!!

Definitely looks better lower. It may not be possible but I think it would help a lot to pull the car out and walk around and see it from a distance and different angles. Perhaps a bit of CAD (cardboard added design) to try out a few things before committing to metal. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

I wish I could but, Currently I cannot take it outside. Space is so limited that I can only work on one side at a time. I have it on the car dollies so that I can work on one side and then roll it sideways and then work on the other side.

Grandiose posteriors can go too far. I do recommend using the entire hood as the trunk lid. I know I'm addicted to the practical, but I've never run into anyone who complains they have too much access to their trunk. It will also make it easier to transition from whatever sheet metal you come up with to the old hood if it's the seam. Putting a hatch in the old hood as your trunk lid just adds a new seam you have to finish and seal.
