Late to this video... but Yes, lipsync a lot. Besides that: doing this with a complete show, having one experience on one side and another on the other side, is like listening to a concert in acid!

I didn't get tickets for this concert. I was 15 and sat outside listening.

How do u know it's the best solo ever? You'd have to listen to every solo he ever played.

Thanks Pink to exist. You are my life

oh my fucking god, i’ve been in tears for half an hour. I’ve never heard better justification for Gilmour to be the greatest man who ever picked up the guitar in history. Heaven

what is even more impressive is that it was raining hard and gilmour & guitar were wet which you can see in the fret board closeups.

Shouldn't be charging the ticket pricess they do for a live concert if it isn't live. If he is too old to sing live then stop pretending and retire. Tina Turner was still singing, dancing and putting on an amazing show when she was older than this.

There is plenty of evidence of lipsyncing on youtube if you search. Videos where he isn't even at the mic and is "singing". I can't imagine buying a ticket to a Roger Waters show to watch him lip sync.

A lot of artists use backing tracks mixed with live vocals to beef up their voice so they don’t blow it out during a tour. Also a lot of delay effects are pre recorded these days. Gary Numan has been doing it for years.

Roger uses prerecorded vocals pretending he's singing live, not to beef up his voice. His shows are amazing but he DOES fake the vocals everytime.

I fortunately got to see the Division Bell Tour a month earlier in Rotterdam because all the Earls Court shows were already sold out by the time I got around to booking my ticket (phoning a hotline ….them were the days). My mate though got tickets for this show and came back the next day shocked and a bit disappointed but happy that the show was rescheduled for the following week.

Oh how I wish this would have been the official PULSE release. Not only does Oslo contain the best version of Comfortably Numb, it also has the best (and rare) live version of Marooned. I know the official version of Pulse has DSOTM in its entirety, but we also have a live1973 Wembley version DSOTM that is comparable (and features the entire band), so the Oslo version seems more appropriate.

Roger also does something , John lennon used to do it and some other people do it it's called Doubling or backtracking , basically you you are singing a duet with a pre-recorded track of yourself singing
@paulmallon92922 жыл бұрын
John Lennon doubletracked his vocals often in the studio. This is an entirely different thing

Yet that is not what is happening here; that is absurd denialism. The exact same sound is coming from both channels here, it is indisputable and you know that.
