I've never seen someone sculpted directly onto a picture, what an excellent idea! I normally do that with metal wire to get the "back/leg bones" so I have a sort of base to work with.
@robertllarson15116 ай бұрын
Thanks I kind of learned it from David Lemon who used the idea for armature wire bending and length like you.

When people ask Alan if he’s ever going to sell the wine we make, he says, “Quit making my past time into a job!!”.
@robertllarson15117 ай бұрын
I agree to that statement ,I believe that with youtube all processes whether painting, sculpting, hide tanning or whatever has turned into performance art and educational to help others get past road blocks in what they do. And if you get enough subscribers and views you might make some money at it while inspiring others.

What does this work for?
@robertllarson1511 Жыл бұрын
thanks for the question, if you are asking about the tanning procedure I used the pickle and bark tan on elk, sheep, deer and rabbits. The only difference was the deer and elk skins I dehaired with just water no lime. I'm sure you could use it for any hides. I still recommend that you salt your hides as soon as you skin them. I use what is called mixing salt for livestock from a farm or feed store for about $8 for 50 lbs. Also it has no iodine in it. I hope this helps if you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask.
