Brilliant Genius first I've ever heard such a man that KNOWS EVERYTHING about everything. Robert Breaker told us to listen to Rickman. For the last 3 years I watched learned more unheard teaching I've ever heard. He is right about all he teaches. KJV HE PROVED HOW CHRISTIANITY WENT DOWN HILL EVER NEW BIBLE THAT CAME.OUT.

Hey bud, don’t know if you’ll see this. John Rogers is my 7th great grandfather. I’ve been doing research on The Rogerenes and stumbled across your videos. How you concluded it towards the end about how my family had a major impact on the bill of rights gave me goosebumps. My family and I still hold these values so their ideas ran deep. Anyways, thank you, I loved the summary. - Blake Rogers

Thank you for this! I think he articulated very well the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the true salvation within. We have to take most everything else with discernment by the Holy Spirit within us of the Word. I have several disagreements with his teaching as in for one the gift of healing. Yes, many phony "healing preachers as in Roberts and others. The gift of healing is not like handing out candy, it is very personal gift given by the Holy Spirit in conjunction with fear and trembling. I feel the same way about Dave Hunt and they both helped me greatly as teachers.

I think you are wrong about people that defend Ruckman online. People read those comments and discussions, and if they see only defamation, then they form their opinion accordingly without thinking. But that defender whom you cited and called bafoon, he is doing great educational points for people, as you do in your video the same. You are bafoon with that replica, with all due respect.

I never called anyone a 'bafoon'. I quoted another guy who called somebody ELSE a 'buffoon'. With all due respect.

I appreciate what you said, i myself got saved in an independent fundamentalist baptist church. In 1985, I thought Jack Hyles could do no wrong. Bought tapes listened to all his messages. But it taught me so much, I don’t put any man upon a pedestal anymore. Never listen to a preacher without making sure it lines up with Gods word.

Thankyou for raising many interesting points. Another thing that you didn't mention was the constant alter calls in IBF churches which felt like weekly guilt trips. On one hand salvation seemed so easy but on the other hand you had to repent every week or make a decision in order for God to approve of you. I found this confusing and damaging as a younger person
@michaelalford700626 күн бұрын
I completely understand, though I don't know if that was a Hyles-specific practice.

Every preacher and teacher can be evaluated and examined and i believe ALL will have both good and bad things to account for....ministry and non ministry christians all fail andhave complicated testimonies.....those men and their families get attacked by the enemy relentlessly.....i must remind myself to pray for my pastor and his family ...these type of messages need to be taught...but i always wonder about how your life will look after its over....im sure it wont be perfect....and im never surprised at the things Christians actually do.....furthermore our greatest biblical hereos all had serious flaws and were guilty of sin..... Thats not an excuse but our pastors and leaders are merely just flawed men ...a reminder of Gods grace....

I’d like to discuss this with you. The bible defines fornication not Webster. The acts of fornication where is sin (for sin is the transgression of the law) in lev 18 and 20.
@michaelalford7006Ай бұрын
I understand your point, but do you think that Websters definition ( which is drawn from scripture) doesn't match Lev 18 and 20?

Hyles made big mistakes like making Dave youth minister while he was still at HAC and not ordained. Making Schaap his successor was totally unbiblical in that it is the sole duty of the deacons to pray and fast and get direction from God as I'm to who should be in that place. I was gone from the church at that time but I knew I Jeff Owens was a more likely choice from an outside view at that time. Today it looks like FBC draws only about 300 to 400 on that huge auditorium. Going the way of Moody church.

You have little Bible knowledge! How did Jesus get such a following? He performed so called miracles like healing the lame, cutting blindness and deafness etc.! He did that to attract crowds and Jesus loved numbers also! maybe you should pull the bean from your eye rather than worry about the stick in another eye! By the way I grew up in FBC Hammond and went to HBHS and HAC for 1 semester until I joined the Marines to drive a M60 tank. I know all his kids personally and they know me. I helped start teenage soul winning because I was going to be a preacher and it started for preacher boy wantabes only at 1st. I also help start Your Conference. I knew Dave and that he was always a wild boy. As far a Nischtik I knew that he was quite "interested" in young girls at church and he was about to be exposed which set things in motion by him to attack Hyles. But heck what do I know dude you are such the "expert"!

Well let me ask THE question that DESTROYS God/Bible and EVERY so called believer/minister! Why did Adam & Eve NOT eat from the "tree of life" which would have guaranteed they could NEVER die? Go ahead and try to reply with an answer but be warned I have always responded and destroyed every contention because I do know the Bible/God better than any living being.

Hyle's easy believism and tactics are just wrong, but when I heard about the accusations against him with his secretary, I didn't know what to think. Many years later, I found interviews on YT of both Hyles' daughter and the secretary's husband. Hyles' daughter and the secretary's husband's interviews revealed what type of character they have by their own spoken word. If the accusers were above reproach, I'd have thought differently. But those two definitely left a bad taste in my mouth enough so that I don't believe them one iota. After listening to them, I that believe that Jack was innocent of the affair.
@michaelalford70062 ай бұрын
That's certainly a fair assessment. Had I been a counselor to Hyles back then, I would have counseled him to step down for the ministries sake until his innocence or guilt could be established either way. Instead it looks like Hyles and those in his orbit doubled down and stonewalled.
@teesbytom62322 ай бұрын
Easy believism is actually just that if you knew the Bible. But see I HATE flies, mosquitos, wasps, fire ants, roaches etc. etc. Therefore the creator knowingly/purposefully created them all so logic demands that I hate the creator of said creatures which of course I do. Think about it because the creator does NOT have to create anyone/anything he does not want to create.

I appreciate your assessment and critique. at 63, I'm a late comer to the teachings of Bro. Ruckman because of Baptists throwing him out with the bath water. I'm very thankful that I had an open mind and am learning far more in my senior years because of his teachings. The Lord used him then and even now through sermon uploads. All glory to God.
