The Saxons and Angles were Danish, the Jutes were Germanic.

English ethnicity is an admixed ethnicity. It’s Anglo Saxon (Germanic) + Scandinavian + Celtic. North Western European ethnicity is Germanic in origin. That doesn’t mean Germany specifically. It also means Denmark, parts of Holland as well as Germany. Those were the angles, Saxons, jutes etc.

I've used Wellman for many years, and more recently the 50+. Vitamins are one of those things that seem hard to identify the benefit which is often subtle. Every now and then, for whatever reason, if I change things about and stop taking them, after a week or so I begin to feel bad again. This reminds me why I take them. I like 50+ because it has higher levels. The reference values or recommended intakes, daily values etc are decades old, considering that our modern diets are very poor, and even many good foods are low in vitamins and minerals due to decades of mass farming without replenishing the soil. That's why organicly produced fruit, veg and meat are encouraged. Cheap multivitamins use low quality ingredients that are either bad for you, or cause your body to process what you eat wastefully or are simply poorly absorbed. You should also learn about really important key minerals that don't get included in cheap supplements, magnesium and copper for instance. Magnesium is vitally important and many people suffer from magnesium deficiency without realising it. Check out The Magnesium Miracle by Dr Carolyn Dean, or Cu:Re Fatigue by Dr Marley Robbins. Mind blowing books about inadequate knowledge of nutrition for doctors who are not taught enough of this in their training. And big-pharmacy companies who simply don't want you to know and try to control supplement products to keep ingredient levels too low to be of real benefit, so you remain borderline and become ill !

I'm not quite 50 yet and have been looking into multivitamins. I've been mindlessly taking Centrum for years, on reading I found in the UK it is recommended to have 10 mcg of vitamin D a day. Every single brand I found contain 5 except for Wellman and Seven Seas. I've now got Wellman Plus on repeat order. Amazing what you can find out when you cant sleep 🤣

Looks a really good product, but what can you use to hold the fibers in place? To product from wind and rain. Maybe oil? Or hairspray? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks for the review, it's very helpful but did you forget to take your tablet today? You sound half asleep! Joking aside, I have been feeling really tired and depressed for a few years now so I'm trying them too. I have to admit, it's only out of desperation because my GP won't help due to my apparently normal blood test results. I seem to feel a bit better already after only 4 days. Perhaps it's the placebo effect, but I'm willing to keep going for until I prove myself wrong or otherwise.

I find mine so weird! My mothers side of the family has lived in England as far as 1800's maybe further and i have an anglo saxon surname yet, no English. My results are 41.3% Scandinavian 40.5% Irish, Scottish and Welsh 11:2% East European 3.5% Baltic and 3.5% Italian. But i'm 100% English at heart lol

The Anglo Saxons are bloody English, and you've got Viking, Celtic and Roman in there, you're English, British.

@@paulwiley8902 Well we get 50/50 from mother and father maybe we just get passed down certain DNA, maybe English was in the family but the Dna was just not passed down. My son is half Scandi and Scott, welsh and Irish alone, so it makes sense. Plus we both have England as a genetic group. Not sure what that means. I think it's awesome what a mix you have, i was surprised myself. But i would have liked English :) I love England x

@@paulwiley8902English is separated because it’s an admixed ethnicity. Up to 40% is Anglo Saxon + Scandinavian + Celtic. It’s very similar to the north Western European ethnicity because of the common origins.
