Thank you for watching Soul's very sad rescue story. It is incredibly frustrating that it had to lead to the tragic passing of his friend but we are so relieved that we were able to save Soul in time and give him a second chance at life that he so desperately deserves.🐴💙

It really is very frustrating and we will never understand why people do this to such precious animals. We are just thankful that we could be there for little Soul.💙

Hi there, thanks for your comment. Although Soul looked like he was a healthy weight in the video of his rescue, I can assure you that definitely wasn't the case. As you can see Soul had a big, thick winter coat but underneath *all* that hair he was severely underweight and you could feel all of his bones sticking out. These ponies had not been fed for some time and a post-mortem examination on his friend Denz revealed that he had tragically died of starvation. Soul was also covered in lice and suffering from thrush on his feet from standing in a waterlogged shelter. He and Denz had both been neglected and let down terribly by their owners. Although we couldn't save Denz in time, we are so happy that we were able to save Soul from this sad situation and that he will hopefully go on to lead a happy and healthy life. Thanks again for taking the time to watch Soul's story.🐴💙

@HorseWorldTrust I wondered how neighbors could see them and do NOTHING! Heartbreaking because these can't speak for themselves. I'm so glad for the soulviver. I rode my stallion until he was 32, carefully of course. His death was 20 years ago and I still cry. Never had another since. Our Thanksgivings were usually hooking him to sleigh and making the area with homemade bread and cheese..and a few bundles of fresh meat. To hear him tinkle the bells, lifting his pretty head to our inner song and that way he talked to the Rez kids when we gave them cloves oranges. Chasing the tribal herd of buffalo and cutting out the ones needing tagged or corraled. His stealing the calves from momma's and bringing to my gate and the momma's so upset. Going every morning to share my coffee..even bringing a good freind for our last ride together, to his final resting place at the cemetery. How can I hurt so still and these people feel nothing? I miss my sweet boy so much

Hi there. Pretty much all trailers used for equine transport here in the UK have ramps. I'm no expert on it, but I think in the USA (and maybe other countries?) most trailers are those which require horses to step up into it, which is where the other videos you've seen may be from. 🙂
