Not like they used to. As more and more original talent leaves the station, they seem to care less and less about their 'legendary' history. You used to be able set yer watch by the songs time slots. Now, yer lucky to hear it while you're still on break. They have forgotten who they used to be.

Angels ran this guy into the ground as a very young guy. He averaged over 240 innings 5 straight years. Guys were not making much back in the early 70s, now they innings and pitch limit to protect a pitcher making over 10 million a year.

Which, when you think about it, is pretty dumb. You now pay a guy huge amounts of money to not pitch and to not win games for your team Just throw 5 innings and sit down, and make your millions, go figure.

Frank is a great athlete and man! He was a "fireballer" that changed his whole approach after hurting his arm and was very effective too! One of my friends attended a 1971 High School playoff game and Frank was pitching for Detroit Catholic Central. My friend said that Frank was throwing really hard that day and the opposing team couldn't make any contact with his 99 MPH fastball!!! Best wishes to Frank and his family!
