Remember guys, KV doesn't always mean speed. The Hobbywing G4 with 3150kv is way faster than the regular Hobbywing 4000kv motor. I would go any 13.5 motor around 3200kv whether it be Hobbywing, Fantom, R1, etc for 1/10 2wd short course. Stay away from Trinity as the stators go bad faster than others under heat stress.

@@HighResistanceRC-id4mx yeah, thats my plan. But nobidy in our club has experience with these cars. How fragile are the arms. Is there any known weakpoint?
@HighResistanceRC-id4mx6 ай бұрын
@@profix25lo the new kit version has all the upgrades. Those upgrades were the weak points of the RTR kit. I’ve been running this car for a year now and never broke an arm, it’s so lite that when you crash it’s not hard on the vehicle. I’m sure if you smack a curb hard enough it would break but on the track it’s solid. The only thing I can think of is getting better bearings and getting metal or the carbon fiber shock towers. The new kit version still has the plastic shock towers. I hope this helps, please like and subscribe. Another great option for 1/14th would be the LC Racing EMB-1HK

The WL Toys 144001 is a budget-priced clone of the LC Racing EMB-1. You can fins parts that work for both, I'm digging the Phat Bodies ATAK. It looks sick on there.

@HighResistanceRC-id4mx7 ай бұрын
The truggy is cool. The 14B is not much different from the 14T. Just the front tires are wider on the 14T. I run the wider front tires on my 14B because I feel it handles better. It’s cool because they give you all the parts to convert your 14T to a 14B in the spare parts bag, except the body and wider tires. Basically the body mounts and ESC bracket.

Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into videoing the action at Hot Laps RC Raceway! So cool to be able to go back and relive the excitement and fun of Frost & Furious. I can't believe I handed the victory to Bookin' Booker in the 2nd to last lap when I screwed myself by trying to avoid traffic, hitting fluff, and ending up in no-man's land waiting to get marshalled! Until next time Booker! 😁

That’s what I love about photos and videos because you can capture the memories. I’ve forgotten memories and for some reason when I’ve seen a picture of an event as a kid it triggers the memories and start to remember that day. It’s crazy how our minds work. Also when we die thats all we leave behind to our love ones are memories. Hopefully they will keep the photos safe and past it down so that your never forgotten. And yes bookers persistence payed off to get the win.

One thing you will find is that the diffs come with very little grease in them, so really pack them up. Change the rear shock oil to 50 or 60wt, as the weight of the 550 motor adds a lot of weight to the rear end,causing it to chassis slap a lot. On the whole,they're great little buggies though.
