Great List...a few others if I may...The Good, The Bad, The Ugly; Heat; Fight Club; Wall Street; Sexy Beast and Layer Cake.

Apart form Matrix, these films are relatively similar. Just shows a type of film you like. In fact it shows that you are associating cool movies with cool, strong lead male characters that you like or admire. Vast number of very cool films that are different to these. Withnail and I, Bladerunner, Alien, Apocalypse Now, Hitchcock movies….

Some absolutely great choices. I’d like to add the Godfather theme, Push it to the limit from Scarface, Superman versus Zod fight in Man of steel, and Batman versus Bane in dark knight rises, climbing out of the pit of despair and making the leap to freedom. Those are some of my favorites

And that’s how an asshole like Donald Trump ends up winning the White House.

What is it about gay people and their sympathizers constantly failing to understand that most heterosexual people do not want to see that crap in a movie or tv show? Just stop showing it. They are not winning anybody over. It’s just provocative Bullshit that does nothing but anger and disgust most people.

Yeah, this movie sucked. I didn’t see it till it came on Hulu recently for free. And I’m glad I didn’t go to the theaters for it. These movies are so hit or miss. The first two were great. The third one sucked and the fourth one was kinda dumb. Prometheus was awesome, but covenant sucked. Weyland Bishop died in part 3. Then he died again in alien versus predator. Then he died again in Prometheus.? This franchise has become an absolute mess.

Breathless, the 1983 Jim McBride directed, Richard Gere and Valérie Kaprisky movie. The epitome of rockabilly badass coolness. IMO.

Great list. Sure, I could add some others like Vanishing Point but I won't. However, True Romance is probably the best movie ever made.

I love Saw 1. After Saw 1 it lost me. Terrifier I’d watch 9 movies of. I can’t get enough. I’m not even a gore fan more slasher. This movie test you. It goes to levels that give you PTSD for weeks. But for some reason it’s addicting. Just to be able to support a un rated movie is fucking the best part!

I’d add “snatch” and “kingsmen the secret service”

Great list, True Romance and Thief are amazing. I would add The Last Detail and I think Dark City is superior compared to The Matrix and a lot cooler.

Watching “Badlands,” <Martin Sheen> reminds me of James Dean....his short stature and rebellious appearance do that..... his charisma in “Apocalypse Now” is not matched by his sons.....I also admire the mom of his children, who has been married to Martin for more than 60 years....
