You do not need to do anything with it. Then, insert the black hose into the pre-filter water outlet. What if I am installing the system in the basement? Is it ok to connect to sewer line? Or can I drain it into ejector pit?
@iSpringWaterSystems20 күн бұрын
Hi there! The recommended installation for the drain line is to the drain pipe under your kitchen sink. However, if you plan to install the system in the basement, please take into account that the system may not have sufficient pressure to push the drain water uphill more than 5 feet. Additionally, a maximum distance from the system to the faucet of 15 feet is possible. The system will produce a faster flow at the faucet with the shortest tubing run from the system to the faucet. Please reach out to us at [email protected] or 678-261-7611 (M-F 9:00-5:00 EST) for proper assistance. Thank you!

During the prefilter flush, since full flow, the black line jumps around like crazy due to air breathing/gulping issue with it filling up the sink drain. Acts normal in normal operations when the system drainsge is much slower, just did that during the flush. Seems ok? (Installed on horizontal sink drain pvc component before the trap)
@iSpringWaterSystems23 күн бұрын
Hi there! Thank you for sharing the details about your system's behavior during the pre filter flush. What you’re experiencing might be trapped air in the drain line, causing the black drain line to move or "jump" when water discharges rapidly. Since the system operates normally during regular use and the behavior occurs only during the pre filter flush, it seems everything is functioning as expected. However if you notice any unusual behavior or if you have any concerns or questions, please reach out to us at [email protected] or 678-261-7611 (M-F 9:00-5:00 EST) for proper assistance. Thank you!

very interesting product i just got in the mail but how do we access the internal part of the siliphos to replace the media? the top swivels about 90 degrees but it doesnt seem to wanna open at either orientation. just by breathing into the 50 mesh i believe i may have needed to purchase the 100 mesh instead. very fine product tho. 50 mesh should still only be 1 psi headloss of pressure. i still have to rig this baby up. the siliphos balls look kind of jagged. seems like a rough form for a manufacturing process. i sure hope this chemical industry isnt also tryin to keep people like myself from accessing the internals to replcae the media on our own instead of buying a whole new outright media.
@iSpringWaterSystems26 күн бұрын
Hi there! Thank you for your comment! Siliphos typically last around 6 months. Once Siliphos has dissolved, you’ll need to replace the filter. If you have the WSPSL model, the replacement filter is the FWSPSL: www.ispringfilter.com/ac/index.php?rt=product/product&product_id=534&acid=2 You can select the 50-micron or 100-micron screen size from the dropdown menu located under the price. Hello i have the flushable ispring sediment filter that auto flushes in Mexico. Does the filter go before or after the water tank? I currently have it before the water tank and it hardly cleans anything. i am thinking of installing it after the water tank. Also, does the water filter require water pressure to work? Can the water filter flush itself with gravity low pressure as is typical in Mexico?
@iSpringWaterSystemsАй бұрын
Hi there! The spin-down sediment filters are typically installed before the water tank. This helps protect the tank from sediment. The filters require sufficient water pressure to operate effectively (minimum of 20 psi) If you have any concerns or questions, please contact us at [email protected] or 678-261-7611 (M-F 9:00-5:00 EST) for proper assistance. I have constant draining. Replaced the drain check valve and I think it stopped the draining for awhile. Started again. It says 200ml on it, same as the original I replaced. Should I just install a regular check valve that will only allow back flow? not constant draining which cost money! (7 stage RO) I followed your test procedures and all of them resulted in constant draining. I had replaced the ASO, membrane, all filters. I think its the check valve. I installed a shut off valve to stop the draining but want to do this correctly.

My pressure is about 60 psi. If I dont use the booster pump ,the system will not work at all? or it will work but make less water?
@iSpringWaterSystemsАй бұрын
Hi there! For optimal performance, the CRO1000 requires an incoming water pressure of 80-130 psi. If the pressure is below 80 psi, a booster pump is necessary. Without it, the system will likely produce very little to no water flow. Please note that this system is a commercial RO system, designed specifically for filtering water for drinking and cooking purposes. If you have any concerns or questions about our products, please contact us at [email protected] or 678-261-7611 (M-F 9:00-5:00 EST) for proper assistance. Thank you!
