Jurassic Park rampage edition for the Sega was one of the best games back in the 90s. I grew up on this game.

Kain couldn't kill the Elder God in the end because that wasn't his vulnerable form. He reaches far and wide in the world. Kain needs to find his 'heart', for lack of a better word, in order to end him. Even if Kain did follow him he would just bury Kain in rubble while retreating.
