You made a reference to technical school work but communication at work but that's on a case-by-case basis. No offense but you did not have a highly technical engineering job but maybe pay was good. I think people choosing engineering should choose this profession for the interest in working with things, creating something, and being okay working behind the scenes with little recognition. Unfortunately, the corporate world can be toxic at times. But, you can always be self-employed, do your own thing, and still create something and be well rewarded. One last thing, being passionate about something is overrated. We're men, we're supposed to go out and perform. It's when you hate something that it becomes a problem.
