I'm very familiar with this area, I usually air down my Jeep tires where you guys first setup at the start of the video, that area is super high traffic so probably not an ideal camp site. Look into the Claymore camp fan, it will last all night and is extremely portable.

Get a heavy duty extension for your hitch I run one on my bronco and I run my set up hard off road and it held up great don’t buy a cheap one get a good solid extension I don’t remember the exact length of mine but I can articulate now and jack knife it and plenty of room with a spare tire I also ran that on my jeep which would be similar to you, my tailgate would open about 80% and the only thing in the way was the propane tank then it would open all the way no problem

Thanks for watching. We stayed at Hillman Ferry campground section A lot 20. it was nice but there are campgrounds closer to the offroad park. We did make a reservation, but it was two days before we got there. Next time we go we plan on camping in the Turkey Bay OHV park itself.

I’ve had that clicking sound, it was the front drive shaft, happened under load in 4WD, stopped in 2WD

Bo-Co 210 can get a lot of water on it, I have seen it as deep as 6 inches all across, or 18 inches at deep spots.

What brand of shocks are you using? If they're stock, what brands would you recommend? I am a novice and I have a '13 jku sahara and the cheap fox shocks the previous owner put on are almost on their last leg. (All 4 leaking badly) Will happily accept any advice from a seasoned jeeper/s. 😊😊😊😊 (ps: love your rig!)❤

Part of that Illinois Bayou trail is now blocked off and can’t be run. FSR 94320A or Old Porter Rd is the part that is blocked off.

Which Jeep are you driving? It seems to handle the water crossings with ease. I have a 2013 Wrangler Sport Unlimited, lifted with Bilstein shocks, 35” tires with 20” rims. I feel like I need to drop my rim size down to 17” though…

The worst place I’ve found for ticks has been the Land Between Lakes in Kentucky, but the Ozarks are pretty bad.

I feel your pain! Late spring through fall can be awful with ticks in the Ozarks. It’s hard to find a spot without them. I try to stick to rocky hard ground with no grass.
