What strings are you using here? Do you tend to prefer high or low G? This is just gorgeous music! I'm looking at the same uke but in acacia, but I can't find it in videos anywhere to get a feel for its sound. Your videos are definitely a great advertisement for this level of Lanikai ukes!

Those strings are worth browns. They’re a good fit for that uke, no doubt about it.

Hi there! That was an improvised recording, which I later turned into a song song and recorded. It’s called “At the Pond” you can hear it on Spotify and other streaming services. open.spotify.com/track/1gVV3e0nErbh160d8MoGtt?si=SxNqLsIbTsCRA1mUYmEfwA

Thank you so much! I grew up with "family music." I played guitar (folk music, mostly strumming, a little picking) informally but constantly from about 10 yrs to 25-26. I'm old now, and I've always wanted to play again. A friend told me to check Alvarez guitars. I checked out their ukes and saw the baritone 6 string. I thought I didn't like the tone of ukes, but have learned that what I don't like is soprano ukes. When I learned the tuning of a 6 string baritone was the same as a guitar, it seemed like an ideal place to start. But until I heard this video, it was only logic, and music is emotion. I loved the tone of your guitarlele, and was delighted to see/hear that I'll be able to learn to pick, not just strum it. This was really helpful!

@@jm17368 ah heck yea! Ukulele can essentially be no different than classical guitar. There’s a lot of amazing ukulele music out there and players. Check out Ohta-San, Tobias Elof, and Jan Hassler to name a few right off the back.

Vous m'avez donné le petit plus qui va me faire acheter un Ukulélé Diana ou Victoria en fonction de vos réponses que j'attends si vous pouvez bien sûr. Merci
@bellamusica81267 ай бұрын

I appreciate the comparison. It is concert vs tenor. It should be noted. They are always going to have different tonalities by virtue of the size.
