Hey Wandy, love the series. But can you please talk about companions and how they level up and become more useful Ive been through the wiki but it hasnt helped. I love nick, but he does almost no damage even with his horizon weapon, but Danse seems to actually be useful to you. Can you please, at least briefly, talk about how you got danse to actually be able to kill a ghoul and in some cases raiders and turrets!

I loot almost nothing. Pretty much just grab rare materials or high value things, really can't be bothered to deal with inventory

I am glad I'm not the only hoarder. Have to loot everything! If it's not bolted down, it comes with. Still trying to figure out what to do with supermutant armor.

Good afternoon, Wanderer. Unrelated to gameplay --- There is a song entitled "The Wanderer" by Emperor (band) from Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk (album). It's a 3 minute instrumental from one of the most established Norwegian Black Metal bands.

Why the mod author uses combat rifle skin for gauss, plasma weapons? Original skins in the game are so much better. No big deal maybe but for me one of the reasons why i dont play this mod.

Heh... I might have said this before, but the latest time I took the Castle, I had some extra Minutemen backup on account of a mod. One of them had picked up a minigun on the way over, and she turned that Mirelurk Queen into krabstix before it even made it out of the water. Having someone on your side with a heavy anti-aircraft cannon sure does wonders for your confidence.

Hi Wanderer. I just want to respond to some unrelated-to-gameplay from your commentary: A) Glad you've sorted a cooling solution to your apt's issue until it's fixed... It surely has been hot & humid. B) Concerning siblings - It can & does go either way. Your sibling could be your bestie or your arch nemesis. I've extrapolated that it mostly depends on how parents raised the siblings & what the siblings carried over from parental teachings into adulthood. It can vary, wildly, based on this. For example, I have a younger brother who is religious, but I'm Atheist. He has a family. I am single. Yet we vibe positively, despite our clashing differences. This is because our parents did a great job instilling "love" & we both were mindful enough to adopt that as we aged. Sh*tty parenting can destroy siblings' relationships, or unite them. Great parenting can unite siblings, but only if the siblings choose to carry it forward... It depends on what the person experiences while impressionable & what sticks. Even under the most ideal circumstances, a sibling can encounter the "wrong people" & they will grow into something unrecognizable. So... Being an only child is in no way a bad thing. Just be compassionate & empathetic to your fellow humans. Be kind. We're all brothers & sisters in a way. :-)

@32:38 It's not "fine" - it is another "Wanderer has no idea what to do with a settlement" case. Covenant does not have a lot of building space, with old houses left. You could have used the scrap bin and removed the housing, but again you chose not to do that. There is no space for Industrial or Recreational or Trading community build here. Maybe Farming or Military Community, but there are far better location for them. Expedition camp would be just fine, but again you lack communication and power for that ... Horizon is one of the few mods that reworked entire settlement system ... and you are playing it like vanilla Fallout 4, where settlements were inconsequential. WHY have you even made your guide, if you do not follow it?!? I get a lot of materials, ammo, food, water from my settlements. Energy cells, black powder, lead, nuclear material, explosives, oil ... you name it. By level 20 I was swimming in supplies. You still have shortages, precisely because you do not plan your settlements.

@12:08 There is a quest for clearing this in the Covenant settlement ... a mercenary is looking for a kidnapped girl. It'a better to have the quest because the merc is following you into the compound and taking the girl to her family. One can increase the reward with speech checks when talking to the merc (Dan something ... I think). Old Man Stockton will not negotiate the ammount of caps.

I believe for your Gauss Rifle last time, you had Tesla coils everywhere on your PA and it helped "charge" up the rifle. Plus, yeah, it was a full titanium, all the way, with everything on it build. Maybe Tesla packs will help the energy damage over time as well. Onward to the Castle!!

13:15 ...You don't have the supply line to that settlement connected anywhere. 39:19 I remember at least one settlement mod that expands Taffington and adds the building to the build zone.

Just to let you know, I completely enjoy your mash up of explanations. Same as you I fell in love with fallout 4 an this mod is top tear so the fact you show what it can do is way better than just run a gun. I myself beat the Xbox version and redid all settlements then leaving at lvl 169. I know you do what you want but the island made a great arena. I did a Roman colosseum and had all the traps above so they would filter down. Awesome to see the pure chaos. Something like that at your max levels would be great to see. If no one says it, thank you for what you do do. I think it’s great.
