Hey @mtbzenmaster, i’m thinking of doing this race this year. It’s hard to see to fine details of the terrain, but do you think it’s possible to ride it with a fully rigid (no suspension) bike with 650b 2.8 inch tires? Thanks!
@MTBZenMaster8 ай бұрын
The terrain is a relatively smooth cross country course, if you okay with pumping over occasional roots. It depends on your fitness and skill level. I could ride it full rigid. Send it bro! :-)

Thinking about doing the enduro for 2023. Blue Mountain is my local park been there Mountain Creek and Killington too. Can I use a DH for enduro. Like your videos.
@MTBZenMaster2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! You could probably use a DH bike for Blue Mountain since they let us use lifts, but most of the other races you have to climb on the transition up. Go ride some laps an glen park to test if you'd like 5/6 climbs. oh and check the rules on the eastern states cup website.

@PaulMoody2 жыл бұрын
@@MTBZenMaster no question you’ll favor the emtb over mtb - I have. In past year, only a dozen non-ebike, while doing 150+ rides on the ebike. I also didn’t gain a pound - you can tailor the assist to the workout you want. And other than weather, there’s never an excuse to not ride (I rode 15 miles per day the last 7 days, would have been nearly 20 days except for last Wednesday rain) and I’m 64yrs old.

nice one! need to work on braking technique, cause you'll cook ehm done fast :) especially braking in the corners I'm newbie myself, and the steep stuff really helps to figure out good braking technique the cliff you rode is also a good example of control you learn while exploring you bike capabilities :)

Yes so tru. There is aways room for break technique progression. Feathering and modulation AND i should have change my rear pads they were warn from racing and contaminated. Problem fixed. And fresh rotor.
