​@@generalweezy4184 They are a powerhouse, I'll give you that. But there is competition. They won the league most of the times in last decade, but last few years? Only by 1 or 2 point. Doesn't seem that dominant to me. By your logic, pretty much all european big leagues are farmers leagues to some extend, because in all leagues there is one, two, sometimes three clubs as a contender to title and rest of teams are sort of just there to feed them points. I mean - men's leagie: Man City, PSG, Bayern, FCB/Real. All farmers? There are other factors at play than just who's won in the end. And yeah, there are problems with big teams winning it all in women's game. I'll also give you that. But there are very specific reasons for it.

That is sad reality, but it shouldn't be like that. It should be for all players, because Ballon d'or is not a 'best offesive player contest', but 'best player contest'. It's pretty obvious defenders/midfielders will not score as much as forwards. But that doesn't mean defenders/midfielders are less important. Especially in modern football where every offensive play is starting with defenders. If you have bad defenders and bad midfielders your forwards won't score a thing and even Messi in you team wouldn't change that. Team is everything and every team need quality player on key positions. CDM is one of those positions. IMO most important position in every team, because it links defense with midfield. Takes a key role in every transision from defense to attack and other way around.
