Security Fleet, especially if you get it early, and Protected Habitats. With protected habitats, not only do you keep all your plants, animals, and microbes, bit you insure that your opponents do not.

Heya! As someone kinda new, and wanting to get back into games like Azzy wars, DaoW, legacies... Would you mind covering some typical strategies, tips and unit compositions as well? I know it can vary from game to game, but one thing putting me off playing legacies is, I don't have great micro, nor do I know what I should be doing with each faction. Thanks!

Grombrindal had +15movement range and +3 unit rank as factionwide buffs early in his tree when i played him, might be changed but that make him better than most people think at first sight

Really unique, but gimmicky and slow. Calling the faction Forsaken seems like the consequence of trying to wedge TFT/WoW lore into RoC. And why would the player betray the winning faction? Overall, I don't understand this map. Seems like a missed opportunity - some ideas are revolutionary, others are copying Azeroth Wars. - Adûnâi

Too bad you don't understand. As for "copying Azeroth wars" I am the editor of azeroth wars, this map is a sequel. Of course many elements will be taken from the previous map. I also think ROC lore is much more interesting that wow's and why the map begins there.

@@lordsebasWL Yeah, don't take my words with a negative slant, I'm just trying to voice my initial impressions. I'm always happy to see new developments in the macro map scene. Still, I just can't view Legacies as a self-sufficient, confident map when it tries to shoehorn the Scarlet Crusade into the RoC timeline. At least, LTF split NA into Lordaeron (Arthas) and Silverhand (Uther), not into Lordaeron and "Militia". RoC doesn't have such iconic factions as the Forsaken, the Blood Elves, the DK Arthas. RoC made much more sense as a setting for Azeroth Wars with three neat theatres (NA, SA, Kalimdor). Whereas imo, shoving all of WoW lore (until N'Zoth, no less) with 23 factions into the start of RoC seems like a missed opportunity. - Adûnâi

Seems silly to have a game mechanic where you have to teamkill your own buildings. Also if you use lore to argue then it's still not true, King Terenas even refused to quarantine plagued people. Why make mechanics that are choirs and unrealistic?

Okay you totally lost me on your opinions on High Elves... xD They have the most full roster, two of the best infantry, the best archers, excellent monsters and magic. Their influence mechanics are super powerful and their economy is very stable. Extremely fun to play and objectively more full of content than the Empire.

The thing that kills Markus' campaign for me is that the retaliation armies are Random. It makes mid-late game super frustrating.

Really good point with Grombrindal, if CA made him start further north-west as like a nomad dwarf leader then that would be such an interesting campaign. That would make it easier to interact with elves also!
