Personally I would’ve preferred the anime to stay close to the game’s story. Pokemon horizons is GOOD. But it’s not pokemon SV it’s Pokémon HORIZONS. Which why this anime is less of an adaptation of the games and instead its own thing. I think they are saving Kieran for something big, or they would have revealed him already there, and since he is one of the most popular characters in all of SV, but also important to all DLC's with the Indigo disk having him as a central character and Terapagos debuting in the game because of him, so they probably will pay tribute to his role in it. Finally, and that can also be inferred, they have a lot of going on right now and Kieran would not fit right now and would need more focus after Gibeon is defeated...so once they finished this arc, they can do more with Kieran and Carmine beyond a small appearance here, as they deserve much more than simply being cameos.

Personally I agree with the 3rd option. There’s no way Nemona, Penny and Arven all know eachother AND Carmine being ENTIRELY separated from Kieran (Since in the games it stated that she traveled to distant regions with Briar while Kieran was champion) without MC being real. I am positive Kieran will get some sort of arc, but it’ll play out differently.

It was a good movie however I prefered the original idea of "Nightmare" being the villain and going against Dr. Strange and then the scarlet witch teams up with Dr. Strange and helps take on Nightmare but they made her the villain to soon ,should have been in Dr. Strange 3 after the scarlet witches solo movie ...cause now who is going to be the villain in the scarlet witch ,, maybe Mesphisto, or blackheart, Nightmare or ghostrider, agatha harkness, cthon etc...

This film is simply the work of an amateur writer with nothing substantial to his credits before - and now, still. This was Kevin Feige's hubris at working, hiring his friends to replace the screen writer and director's he had, once he fired Scott Derrickson, who wanted to make a real Horror film, and not silly Disney Scooby Do episode, with an ice cream song.
