It's real sad that this place is gone now (replaced). Went there in 2009. It was the ultimate resort. Small, all rooms close to beach. We had a basic room that was 20 feet from the water ! You don't get that anymore. It was basic, but that made it nice. No crowds, lot's or room, lot's of places to sit. Always quick service. You only get that now if you spend the big $$.. Went to one place since then in 2014, will never do an all inclusive ever again.. This place ended the era of good value in an all inclusive.

Trip central is what I use

I stayed at this resort back in 1985, when it was called Jamaica Jamaica, and I believe that it is still owned and operated today by the same company. In a nutshell I had an amazing time here, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was simply amazing. It's not the biggest resort hotel, which I actually think made my stay here more enjoyable, I met some really great people.

I stayed here and met a lovely family... The children played together in a safe environment, but we were so afraid of attack-not by anyone in Barbados, but by the network of people currently committing war crimes on us; unfortunately, there are too many psychopaths in my family, community.. world really and as a result, I would often try to hide or run away from too much attention, but there were a few heros in Barbados who helped us when we went to the neighbouring beach beside the crane to get away from any chance that someone would acuse us of anything untoward... Aden was stung by a jelly fish and a many lovely people were brave and made sure to follow us and be near us anyway and I'm glad because we needed their help... I realize that more now than ever... I wonder what assaults the twins were experiencing at home in Canada. You see, everyone in my family always said it was too hard to take care of three children at once and that is why the whole family wasn't approved for travel... I always had fun taking care of family, even when exhausted, but the other members of my family did nothing but complain and say that it was too hard😪 I witnessed a gentleman care for four young boys at this Hotel and I realize how abusive my family was! I continued to try to put on a good face, but I knew I would have to divorce... We were truly being abused and the terrorism, assault, abductions, corruptions in the court ect, at every level, prices to me that this was always a terrorist cell that tricked woman into having children so that they could be exploited... The Fazaris assessed Mike and said he was exploitative and duplicitous and that I was honest ect but my executive rating was a B rather than the A they gave Mike and as a result the children were sentenced to a life a pure hell and I want every single person who did that to us executed! Two nights ago my phone kept ringing with a Barbados call number, but everytime I tried to answer the phone, the phone cut out and would not respond to instructions to answer the call. Why were we sent to Barbados anyway... It wasn't my idea... In fact, the trip was pushed on us at the last minute and u agreed because I was always extremely agreeable to try to prevent attacks... I realize now that no matter what we would have done, we were going to be attached and brutalized... I want every single person who ever attached us executed. Chalmers us a disgrace to allow his partner to use my name on his loans to firm his company and then to use the court to cover up my rights! Bayfront capital is world disgrace for using me as a business partner and then denying it! Anyone involved in this should be destroyed. The calls that were coming in on my phone came in right after I commented on. A native family. They used natuves off the reserve from the Ohsweken to abuse us and everyone joined in and everyone had previously be cared for with extreme generousity, hard work and live beyond measure! For every ungrateful person that ever got love from us and who turned around and attacked us and then refused to let me say no or stop them... I want the works to give you the death penalty as you deserve!

This video is a bit misleading. We did love our stay there, but the resort is on the NOT swimmable side of the beach too strong rip tide and not really a walkable distance to swimmable beach like they say there is either...Also it’s not just a $10 cab ride to downtown Cabo it’s more like $120 for a round trip cab ride it’s about 30minute drive away from the resort. Cheaper to just rent your own car

the people saying bad things about this resort are just spoiled assholes who think they're better than other people. Fact is, you're not. The place is nice enough and the food buffet always has some good stuff.

We definetly recommend valet Park N Fly. It's fast, easy to use, and upscale. We now only use them instead of self park or economy. Thanks to the creators of this service. It is truly worth it. Save time and energy. Take the stress and worry out of your trip when you fly an d park with valet Park N Fly.

It was a very nice place. The staff was hard working and friendly. However, the staff also made several mistakes. You could order anything off the menu, but, what you got was basically a random chance. This could be because of a language barrier. But, it could also have been because they were simply 'out of stock' on most menu items and did not wish to mention it. Stick to 'buffet eating' as much as possible. Cuba is a terrific place and they do as much as they can without a lot of resources. But, if you are going for the food then you are going to be disappointed. Tip for first timers. Take your own spices. Such as hot sauce or whatever you like. On other surprise for us was the huge amounts of alcohol. In the royal suite they give you 4 complimentary bottles of hard liquor on day 1. The fridge is stocked daily with beer, and you are never out of site of a bar. So, try not to over indulge on your first day. Pace your drinking. On day one load up on single peso notes for tipping. The staff won't make change at the resort. If you run low on cash getting more Canadian Dollars converted to CUC's takes an hour of standing in line.

Sincerely TERRIBLE!! Terrible beds, terrible mattresses with many springs, you will not be able to rest on these beds NEVER, One towel for person and they look dirty. Little hot water inside the rooms or none, for hours there may be no water. Terrible food and not to mention the wine is old and undrinkable with a bad smell and inside the buffet a disgusting smell and also there were a lot of FLIES. Refrigerators in poor condition, doors and floor. The WATER that you should buy tastes a little salty. Bring your own water filter. ALERT, This "Hotel Palma Real" is NOT facing the sea, you have to walk about 300 meters and even cross a double street to access the beach. Staff: Some people at the reception were Unfriendly but change immediately upon seeing the tip. The people of this hotel who work inside the stores, YOU MUST BE ALERT since one day they charge a price and the other day they charge another, BE VERY CAREFUL. The cleaning people were friendly, however I have little doubt about that, as they always required our tips so they could clean the room a bit better. PALMA REAL HOTEL I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.

The food sucks here. If you want to stay here, It is a $700.00 all in resort. I would not pay a penny more. I am not a picky eater and went to a restaurant every night because it was horrible. Also, the rooms were some what clean. ...mold in ceilings in spots, doors barely closed , and the beach is not the one you see in the video. It is a bit more than 200 as stated in her video. Spend a bit more and check out the starfish hotel across the street. Great food and on the beach.

Beautiful pools close at 8 pm. No swimming after the hot sun goes down. Sad.

Tripcentral ,a very poor review,and far from a ( 4 star ) resort, more like a ( 2 star ) resort.My wife and I just got back from a most desappointing week at Las Dunas and after the first day or so were wishing there was a storm warning that would send us home ASAP.First we had a time of no water, and then n o a/c and the toilet was not working,and the TV was almost impossible to watch,and the drivers when called for pick,because my wife was in a wheelchair,and it would take at times an our or longer.The buffets that we ate at all of the time were very much repeated the same almost everyday.This resort is in need of a lot of repairs and painting both inside and out.The toilet did not working properly all the time,and the shower curtain holder kept falling down.The toilet seat plastic screw broke and needed repair..When the A/C worked it seamed to be at its lowest cool position no matter what we did.TOTALY fed up with the resort and the poor way it is operated.Now in regards to the staff who ever we talked to had gone above and beyond to help us out.We have spoke to a lot of people that were there at the same time as us and also wished they would have gone to another resort with a 4 or true 5 star rating. Terrible experience for myself and my wife in her wheelchair.

Usen su seguro y pagenle a toda la gente que a ido a este hotel y se han quebrado no solamente el brazo, pierna ó quien sabe que mas accidentes han tenido sus clientes., haganse responsables. Utilisen todo el dinero que reciben de sus turistas, para indicar el peligro que existe en este hotel ó paguen a sus empleados para que limpien los suelos del hotel!!!!!!!!!!!! No es justo que por una mala administración tengamos que pasar por todo esto NO ES JUSTO!!!!!!!!!

Ah y aparte de todo esto tengo que recibir TERAPIA por mucho tiempo, ME ENCANTARIA SABER SI EL HOTEL DECAMERON PODRIA PAGAR POR TODOS ESTOS GASTOS DE MIS 2 OPERACIONES Y TERAPIA?????????????????
