Imo this was a better solution though because WarGreymon & MetalGarurumon were meant to be the main heroes in that season and it would have made them look very bad if MagnaAngemon had just easily soloed the guy who owned both of them even at once

They changed a lot of things and censored it specially the violence. MetalSeadramon is the only DM that gets to keep his original name. In the english dubbed version they just added a "d" to Piemon for whatever reason to be honest I personally like Piedmon more then Piemon and Piemon isn't pronounced the way you'd think... it's "Pee" not "Pie"

It's mostly just the violence they censored by cutting it... Piedmon his swords are cut when they land hits on Chuumon, Wargreymon and MetalGarurmon! About the martini scene Piedmon didn't even take a sip of his glass! I think it's just there to show the audience of his personality and look how fancy I am with my martini!

I saw somewhere that it was because Angemon is literally made to counter Dark types like Piedmon. That's why even as an Ultimate, he was able to defeat this Mega easily. That's why the following season against Data types like BlackWarGreymon, MagnaAngemon was essentially rendered useless

Piedmon is weak against angels because he's a demonic clown! Originally in the japanese version he's a demon-man type monster so only angels are his worst enemy and don't forgot the dark master Piedmon is not a normal Piedmon he was created by Apocalymon to purge the digital world into darkness and his creator made Piedmon much stronger and possibly more dangerous than normal Piedmons!

@@crazyman7671even though he lost to Blackwargreymon he was the only in his Ultimate form that kept up with him I loved how Blackwargreymon gave him his props as they were battling it out

@@crazyman7671 I think the biggest difference was though that BlackWarGreymon was a good physical fighter, Piedmon not so much. And yes, Holy advantage also helped definitely but I just mean it's far more difficult to beat BlackWarGreymon in purely physical melee combat even though he may be overall weaker than Piedmon (that's a bit questionable though since BlackWarGreymon fought much more experienced and stronger version of WarGreymon than Piedmon did, and Piedmon never fought Imperialdramon)

I think it's supposed to trap them in a prison dimension that only seals evil/dark Digimon that keeps them locked away for eternity.

🤣🤣🤣 It's a dubbed only thing! I know it's dumb! I don't know why they can't just keep the names of all the attacks from the original version! Toy Wonderness is a strange name for an attack, the dubbed could've just gave that attack an new name instead of using Trump Sword! Maybe call it Texture Flow! A wind attack! It's one of Piedmon's ability in CyberSleuth that is a wind based attack!

@@LordPiemon lol It's minor but he also calls Ending Snipe at 5:53 by the wrong name, calling it "Clown Trick", which IS a move of his, but has nothing to do with shooting electricity. Maybe Piedmon was playing mindgames, announcing the wrong attacks so everyone would be off guard!

He only used that move one time! Don't know why he doesn't just span Ending Snipe! It's very powerful and probably stronger than Trump Sword. 😲

@@LordPiemon I’d bet it’s because he delays victory constantly, he and Pinochimon would much rather make a big show of winning instead of going for it. Trump Sword is a lot flashier too, so no wonder he prefers it over a somewhat normal looking lightning ball. 🤡 ⚔️

Wargreymons are easy targets for Piedmons to tear to pieces with their Trump Swords! Oh there's are other Piedmons besides the DM specially in the games!

That if MetalEtemon had the guts to fight Piedmon. I doubt he did... everyone is terrified of The clown from Hell he's literally the strongest monster in the original Digimon Adventure besides the final end boss that show up last second after Piedmon's imprisonment in the gate of destiny.

@@Derek1955 A Piedmon appeared in Digimon Ghost Game! It's obviously isn't the Dark Master but a very chilled Piedmon that's more interested in playing card than anything else he's also supposed to be very strong even though he didn't bothered to fight! He was ready for a fight but had his gang of performers do it for him cause Piedmon himself is too powerful for the main heroes to defeat and it's just an normal Piedmon that not corrupted by an evil entity like Apocalymon.

If only Piedmon destroyed TK first... and then Kari now that would be a dark story and the end of the chosen children(Digi-destined) If Piedmon was serious he'd destroyed the two most problematic monsters... the angels and their human partners!

Piedmon has always wanted the digital world all to himself! Piedmon is happy there all gone and all territories are now Piedmon's after each master dies. Why does Piedmon not just kill the others DMs... well nobody knows why... maybe it's because they are Piedmon's equals!

i hate how people love to hate on the dub, they had some incredible voice actors who poured their hearts into the roles. Piedmon, Myotismon, LadyDevimon and so on, there were so many good voices chosen for the roles that fit so well.

I hate it... seriously his raspy old man voice is horrible and he sounds like there's something stuck in his throat... Yes! It's sucks that the dubbed remove his title... and they changed him to wizard... I preferred the original japanese version were he is a demon clown. Hence the title The Clown of Hell! They also in the dub removed some of Piedmon's attack names like Toy Wonderness to Trump Sword and Ending Snipe to Clown Trick... I don't understand why they changed the names it's dumb...

No it's a murderous clown called Piedmon! or Piemon in japanese!

It took ALL the kids mons to beat Piedmon not just the angel, WarGreymon and MetalGarurmon delivered the final blow to Piedmon sending him flying into the gate of no return! Piedmon was overwhelmed and outnumbered! Even with his army of little gremlins he was still outnumbered by the end when more help arrive to fight of Piedmon's embarrassing army of gremlins he should of got an army of Ultimates to fight for him, it would've been very different if Piedmon had a much better army! Machinedramon had the best army out of ALL the DMs!

I would say that MagnaAngemon is above Piedmon ONLY in terms of physical strength because Piedmon just isn't a physical fighter. This is why we saw MagnaAngemon schooling him in physical combat but his gate didn't actually affect Piedmon at all UNTIL WarGreymon & MetalGarurumon (aka two Megas) THREW him there. That means Piedmon was still stronger in terms of overall power, that's why he was practically beaten in 3v1 scenario.

The English dub tried to exclude religious connotations as much as possible. Like changing Piedmon's name cause his Japanese name is Paimon, one of the demons in the Ars Goetia

Funny thing about that Piedmon actually does have a chainsaw! He never used it in battle! lol There's a concept art of Piedmon doing the chainsaw trick on Etemon! 🤡

VenomMyotismon was in the same shoes as WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon, he was newly Digivovled so he hasn't grown accustomed to it. Not to mention VenomMyotismon wasn't as intelligent as his former Myotismon form and later on MaloMyotismon. Meanwhile, all of the Dark Masters are extremely powerful, they were created by Apocalymon, and are far more experienced. In addition, the Dark Masters were powerful enough to seal the Four Soveriegns, whom are also very powerful Digimon. If it weren't for plot armor (and the limited screen time they had-Dark Masters arc was heavily rushed), the Dark Masters would have showcased their actual strengths vs the Digidestined compared to what we end up seeing in the end.

Yeah Piedmon is definitely above VenomVamdemon/VenomMyotismon, only against BelialVamdemon/MaloMyotismon he would lose. That guy overpowered Imperialdramon Fighter Mode who should be above Piedmon.

@@Sm4sher-Vader And you're right, VenomVamdemon was also an inexperienced Mega. If he got more experience I could see him beating Piedmon at least physically but even then there's still one big problem: Venom is really stupid while Piedmon is very smart. If he managed to get more intelligence as well then that's another matter, but otherwise that's actually a very big disadvantage and Piedmon may still win.

@@UchitakeOtoshi Piedmon is smart enough not to fight monsters that too much for him to handle and plus he would only fight if his ruling is on the line. Piedmon wants to rule the digital world and he'll find away to defeat a powerful foe or just use others like the kids, like they did with the others dark masters. Piedmon is happy to sit back and enjoy the show while his enemies perish like pawns on a chess board!! 🤡

Yes it's sad Piedmon lost... He played around too much not taking the fight too seriously... If I was Piedmon I would've used the ability 'Mask Square' and it all be over and Piedmon can get back too sitting on his throne doing nothing... and sipping wine all day! 🍷🤣
