I remember the first time I saw a wrestler whip a dumb fan. Nikita Kolloff stomped a fan into wine while the rest of the wrestlers entered the ring for their tag match

Fantastic episode. Diamond listener here looking for Pete Sechelowski's Wrestleplace. guess Tales from the attitude era will have to do. Tommy is finding his form and getting more and more comfortable. this is what happens when all his podcast experience comes from 10 minutes or less.

I watched this live on PPV when I was 9. It's one of my most favorite segments from any PPV special.

That Mae Young storyline sucked because it’s constantly replayed as one of the funniest moments in Monday Night Raw history but it makes professional wrestling look embarrassing

For some reason HHH’s “This title means more to me than it ever will to you!” stuck with me for years afterwards. Great entertainment as a kid.

"Mae Young Gives Birth to a Hand" is the thing that to this day my dad pulls out when he wants to point out how stupid wrestling can be. He used to watch Jim Barnett's World Championship Wrestling here in Australia as a kid. Then much later he watched more WCW than WWF when I was a kid. These days he doesn't watch at all because he isn't really that interested but I'll tell him about some things that are going on.

Sounds like your old man was into professional wrestling, but not sports entertainment.

its kind of wild, i barely pay attention to the details of this show, occasionally its a funny Vince story or an anecdote from the 90s but otherwise, im wholly entertained by the story telling that ive missed for the past 5 years, thanks for doing this Tommy and Rob

I gotta ask, as a fan of Ten Minute Podcast, is Tommy's last name pronounced how Will Sasso said it (Blotch-a) or how Rob says it (Blagh-ha)? It's been on my mind since episode one lol

It's pronounced NO JOKE.

Vince wasn’t convinced because he didn’t create Jericho and name him. So silly. I’m glad Jericho was able to fight through that nonsense.
@quentinkaasa47Күн бұрын
Jericho wasn't a top star or a draw coming in. Goldberg, the nWo, Luger, The Big Show, etc. all got the big push right away when they came in.
@chappell72114 күн бұрын
there's no good way to tie up that story. the hand was absolutely ridiculous in the same way that the shockmaster was ridiculous. but there's no way to make a miscarriage entertaining.
