I went to a wedding like this, it was pretty ridiculous. If you're gonna have that many people there, it needs to be portioned and plated while the ceremony is going on, so people can just grab a plate and go when it's time to eat so everyone gets the same amount on their plates.

Weddings arent so long that you cant go wothout food for a little bit... Like its genuinely not hard to ask one of the party hosts permission....
