I just finished my first playthrough of frozen wilds in a few years. I went back to it mainly because how much you talked about it in your forbidden west playthrough. I had forgotten most of it, and how good it is. Should have waited until February, though. Buffalo in winter would make this better.

With all the specialized gear to each class, skills and combos, the lvl of replay ability is insane. I’m having one Monk char I’m playing on one of the runs and boy, the Monk class is crazy powerful. With all the mods coming to PS5 it’s gonna be even more class/subclass options. Every time I start a new game, I drop it and go back to BG3. Heeeelp 😂 About the first time run - mine sucked. I wish I could forget it and never embarrass myself thinking of it ever.

Not Starbucks… Tim Horton’s. I’ll have a double-double and a small thing of Tim bits, please. I do remember the first time going into the ZD facility. I was playing and my wife was watching. We were coming up with various theories as I went further in. I think sometime around here our hypothesis was that ZD was like the seed vaults in Svalbard, but for more than seeds. We were close on that part, but the reset was so much more.

I know this is about a year old, but maybe someone will comment. One thing that has never made sense to me about zero dawn. Everyone was either dead or hiding in one of the vaults by the time Minerva cracked the code and shut down the swarm. However, there are a TON of Faro robots apparently frozen in the middle of a fight like the one in mother’s heart or the one, here at the grave-hoard. Really all over the place. That doesn’t make sense, though. The robots would just be hibernating when they got the shutdown code. The war would have been over for half a century by that point. Thoughts? What am I missing?

I always thought the ‘tree moving out of the way’ touch was nice, though I think they should have only used it for the first Scarab.

In the Super Duper Mart, the two stoners just work there. They're not the masterminds. Probably anybody who wants to capture a ghoul can bring it here for a few quick caps or some chems. Snip Snip would harvest ghoul organs, which wouldn't be as valuable as smooth skin or especially a pure vault dweller. Or they could be selling ghouls as slaves.

Behemoth and tremortusk

Clawstriders, grimhorns, and rollerbacks are my favourite "small" machines aesthetically. They just exemplify the robot dinosaur look of the Horizon machines. Skydrifters have the best movement. The side-to-side gliding they do when swooping, and the way they use their wings as shields when on the ground, is just so incredibly cool. My favourite machine to fight used to be the thunderjaw, but since Forbidden West, I love fighting the tremortusks. They have a million parts to shoot off, and if you manage to take one down perfectly, the whole fight feels so incredibly *clinical*.

About Lae’zel and her character arc - the good news is she’s gonna be way better starting from now on. And I consider her being the strongest character in the team but it’s only cause she’s a fighter with a Gith sword lol
