Just ordered mine. It looked decent for the price about $180 before tax. Would this be ideal for tactical use in rain, mountains and deserts?

I have this suppressor on a 7.5 inch .300 BLK with 220 grain subs (I've tried 2 different brands) it's still LOUD. Like almost unsuppressed 9mm pistol loud. What am I doing wrong? Very disappointed.

My mount has a tinny tiny wobble in my Hard Head Veterans Helmet’s Shroud. Should I be concerned? I did swing my head back and forth to see if it pop out, but nothing happened.

I love mine, only thing is if you hold it left side down and pull slide back slowly the pin can fall out enough to lock it up but never happens during firing at any angle

I just cleaned my sparrow after shooting about 100 rounds through it yesterday. I also shot my Bowers Bitty yesterday. The Bitty is much louder than is the Sparrow. The host for this shooting session was a Ruger MK IV using Aguila Super Extra ammunition. My complaint against the Sparrow is the disassembly to clean it. Even after shooting only ~100 rounds it was difficult to remove the mono core and and shields. I have to use a wooden dowel to do so. This time it was a little easier to remove these parts. This was due to the reduced number of rounds (I usually shoot about 500 rounds) and I also shot the Sparrow wet with a dab of white lithium grease. In other videos, I often see others push the parts out of their Sparrow and then grab the front end and pull the parts the rest of the way out.

Well, it’s 2024 and my 870 DM tactical is still performing flawlessly. Bought mine brand new back in 2019. Only modification is a Wilson combat pistol grip adapter. Bummer about the mags but I bought 4 with my shogun purchase. Really wish Magpul made after market mags. They’d do it right.

I recently purchased the Surge 762. Have fired it in my 20” M&P 10 and 16” M&P 16 (used the 762 endcap). You hear the crack of the round, not the bang. It’s crazy. How about a video on recommended cleaning of this ?

good suppressor , but the build quality isn't that good. i've only shot 1000 rounds through mine and cleaned it once and part of the finish on the tube already came off. I didn't realized there was a misalignment with the body and cap. Fully functional, but doesn't look good.

I have hundreds surrounds down my DBX. It is an amazing firearm and the perfect backpack/camping gun. I have heard horror stories about trying to suppress it though. So I would love to hear or see another video where he describes the process of putting the suppressor on this weapon. Other than that I strongly recommend everyone add this to their collection. It is a great gun.
@SHWATteam

Thanks for the feedback, Ryan! A video where we describe the process of putting the suppressor on would be pretty short. It's a direct thread can, so, spin it on and start shooting is the sum of it. In our experience, direct thread cans are the easy button.

Old video i know... but i just bought one of these for 650 but I didnt realize the mounting system was so proprietary. Can I get a definitive answer on what rail you used that directly interfeced with the raptar? I looks to me like a centurian rail... which I just so happen to have on a 14.5 build of mine and it does have hols on top but are not tapped. Id really appreciate it if you could clarify exactly how you achieved a direct rail interface mount. Thanks

I’ve run the curved butt pad on both my Tavors for the last 5 years. The gun rolls up from low ready into the pocket of the shoulder so much better. It seats perfectly with no slippage, and the top lip is the same length as the factory, so while operationally the gun is an inch shorter, it still keeps within the ATF length guidelines. If you can find it, grab it quick. You won’t regret it.

The V3 is just an awesome shotgun no matter what length the barrel is. I have two, both field sport versions. The 26” barrel I’ve added a barrel length mag tube, oversized bolt release and charge handle. It’s a pain to drill and tap the original bolt release button but it can be done if you remove the temper on it first with heat. I found an 18” barrel and put it on the black field sport and added a +3 mag tube on it too for a home defense gun. I also bought this very TruGlo optic and mounted it. I removed the lens covers as they will come off shooting the heavy loads but the V3 handles recoil like the Benelli M4. Reason is, it’s the same gas system. Best in the field of semi auto shotguns. Buy a +5 mag tube extension on the Turkey model and you’ll have a fantastic home defense gun too! The 13 and 18” barrels come with a gas piston plug. The later V3s have a compensation port gas piston plug that helps even more with recoil and you can buy extra ones and swap them in place of the plugs. You may have to remove some material in the forend though. Not a big deal. But I sold my 1301 and my M4 because I have two V3s that can handle everything I need a shotgun to do now. And I used the money from those other two shotguns for a down payment on a new motorcycle! 😅😅 Thanks for the video. I’ll probably pick up a Turkey model soon. Can’t have enough V3s.
