for some reason i think your just complaining😐, when you said the fries are cold and soggy its well if you got your meal late then it will be cold but when you get it early then it tastes better plus its not a fancy like McDonald's you probably have bad taste😐

Yup, and there it is. In a previous video, you were struggling to identify some of the items you'd ordered. Two months later, now you're proficient in navigating through the menu like a local...tourist. The steamed chicken rice would have been the highlight of my visit to any Chinese restaurant, but you said it was plain, and nothing special. I was filled with dismay upon hearing this. To me, it's all about the fat from the skin that melts into the rice. (childhood memories of my mom's cooking).

That's funny and unique, to see a vlogger discover the Hong Kong cuisine for the first time. But after 7 months there, I'm sure you've tried more of the traditional local specialties.

Oy! Pizza in Hong Kong? That's like when I ate Chinese in Berlin. The restaurant was decorated nicely, but their food was crap on a plate. They were in between chefs, I suppose.
@carson3448 Жыл бұрын
since 1567 discovery age there were so many pirates around so china ban all sea trade. (two hundreds years later) 1757 qing is powerful enough to handle 1 port ie canton (hk nextdoor) until brit take over hk at 1842, qing open 4 ports more ie shanghai etc. could be too simple to compare that way.
@robertlee4172 Жыл бұрын
@@carson3448 " there were so many pirates around ... until brit take over hk at 1842" I can't help, but think you're "white washing" history. The pirates WERE the British. Those swashbuckling pirateers and privateers romanticized in children's storybooks and movies, WERE British. It's no coincidence, every depiction of pirates in movies and television shows, happened to be British characters. I can specifically recall the Jardine Matheson Company, who owned the British East India Company, a front organization, that thrusted the opium on the Chinese population throughout the country.

Welcome to Hong Kong, and thank you for your sharing. Glad that you enjoyed the food.☺However, Cha can ting(Putonghua) is usually called Cha Chaan Tang (Cantonese) in Hong Kong. Although both of them are same in written chinese, which is 茶餐廳, it is better to pronouns it Cha Chaan Tang, since Cantonese is the common language in HK.
