if I wind the step up autotransformer in the order 0-30v-70v-100v. what will happen at 0-30v, if i put 45v voltage into this tap? will it burn? then what is the output on tap 0-100v? please provide an explanation for me, thank you.

Is it possible to do this test if the actual VA rating of the transformer is unknown. I have a vintage hedgehog transformer from the 1920 but no manufacturer’s information. The transformer does have a 200-220V input tapping. The transformer is used in a power supply with a rated dc output of 20mA. I wondered if I could approximate the VA rating too 210x20mA
