See i do the opposite i short to the liquidity zone. I don't wait for price to get tagged. It's evident t if buyers are adding to an area then mind as well short to that area. Just like your example they are adding to that area so short to it.
@bullishbearstrading4 күн бұрын
Yes! Using these heavy levels on Heatmap as a target can work as well! It may be a bit more difficult because targeting those levels isn’t giving you an entry, just a target. Whereas waiting for the reaction to the levels gives us our entry and then we can either ride the momentum to next KL or target the next heavy level on Bookmap

Smoothing simply has the effect of making the curves in the line smoother. It's kinda like changing the shape the top of a triangle (the left and right sides) into something approaching a semicircle.

Because it’s volume based we can look to see where there’s large orders being executed to look for either follow through or a potential reversal. This can be especially helpful if you’re looking at the footprint while price is near one of your predetermined price levels to see how the markets reacting

they have no influence. they had a cult like facebook group 8 years ago that has completely imploded because all they really want to do is sell memberships for their useless information. thats why their views have cratered and the group posts are 98% admins

Oh man! I’m so sorry about this, I didn’t notice until a bit after this video was created. My newer videos I’m using a dark background with lighter crosshair so it is easier to see. I go live Monday’s and Friday’s 9:15a-11a ET, if you want to join in one of the streams and ask me to help with the Contract/Drawing adjustments I can certainly do that!

Your video literally shows how sell limit orders got pulled and price did not stop but kept going up.
@marco199780312 күн бұрын
I think that might have been limit orders being fulfilled by buy market orders than being pulled
@jaws124612 күн бұрын
@marco1997803 so if you're looking at those areas to be resistance for the purpose of a short, you were fooled because the price just kept going up. How would bookmap be a help in that case?

Measure the difference and then use the tool in the video (so if it’s a 10-1 split and brings stock ABC from 100 to 10 that’s a 90$ difference so you’d -90)

can you make video examining a live stocks in action proving your strat actually works without just using a historic graph. The come back and show us the updated chart proving that your strategy did indeed work and it went exactly in the direction you planned? I do not trust any video with premade charts because anybody can sound smart using already made data
@bullishbearstrading24 күн бұрын
This video has been around for a long time. Since then, we do show our strategies in action twice a week on The Watchlist.

Do you need to purchase full market data in addition to the $50 a month for Global? Global doesn't include real time data? i.e. dxfeed
@davidingersoll851226 күн бұрын
Yes, a lot of setting options. However, once you get it exactly how you want it, click "Defaults" at the bottom, then click "Save as default", then whenever you add that moving average to another chart it will use those saved settings.

good aftermarket strategy bro...
@bullishbearstrading19 күн бұрын
Every strategy can seem great after the fact (or “aftermarket strategy”) but the ORB can be helpful to find a range, and it’s something that you can consistently use and backtest because it’s a constant (either 15m or 30m ORB) which is very important when building a system. Also you can use tools like Edgeful and look for the stats of breakout, breakdown and double breaks so like today (12/16) on ES, the past 5 trading days we’ve had 3 double breaks so today I was expecting a Double break and was able to setup my trade plan like that
@KenLahne227 күн бұрын
51:45 25 cents per tick? 4 ticks = 1 point ES: 1 point = $50 2 points per candle = 8 ticks

Thanks for the video. Do u know how to keep charts from syncing? I have different layouts but same symbol and all drawings are put on each chart. how do i disable that?( the sync drawing icons are not highlighted). tia if u know
@bullishbearstradingАй бұрын
Above the Globally option: Try to set a layout to have the “sync new drawings in layout” and see if that works

To Calculate Profit and Loss on a closed trade, Go to Monitor > Account Statement > set Calendar Dates > Show by Symbol > Trade History Note Opening and Closing prices and calculate the Profit and Loss. Not elegant but not that hard either.

It was insane I'm Army Vet of 35yrs. I'll use their Oracle Platform but the educational slice is garbage.
