I spent a week at a songwriters festival and it was amazing!!! It was great to hear the original material in its true artistic passion before their labels switched it up and gave the tune to a commercial performer. It was bizarre how many folks passed by thinking it was cover bands .

The strum of the guitar makes up for the missing drum. The sounds he makes with his voice is the missing band, and this stripped down version is way better than any studio version. AI couldn't recreate this.

Seen Dawes probably fifteen years ago after playing a gig down the street….These guys were (and are still), in a class of their own…. Seriously one of the best f’n bands on the planet…the songwriting, musicianship, vocals…. Incredible….
