wondering which oil you choose. Recommend is 10w-30 in terms of viscosity. Wondering why I saw the number 51 on your oil.... ?

You must be squeezing your handlebars like crazy just loosen up on the gravel just rest your wrists and relax. I've never seen that before. the kay is to let the handlebar loose on the gravel not to be tense. i've done many km on loose gravel trust me lol if you ever und up in loose sand or trails in Utah You will have a hard time to ride.
@falcuspluscamera3 күн бұрын
My hands were super loose on the handlebars sometimes even just holding them with my fingers. That road is something else that gravel is something else. We are not the only ones finishing this road with our hands in this kind of condition. I don’t know maybe there is something in the air 😂😂😂

Well done! Spike and I stopped both ways at the same campground/boat launch on the TT. We met the guys who owned that trailer. We kept our neck buffs over our mouths the whole way and still tasted dust! When I got to Relais 381, the hand dryer blew clouds of dust from my suit when I was drying my hands. I looked like Charlie Brown's friend Pig Pen. I found it very quiet when I got to the Billy Diamond. The symphony of gravel on my belly pan was louder than I knew. Congratulations! Ps. You mentioned that you might do a video just talking about the trip. If you want to do a cross-over video, let me know. I would be happy to sit and chat about the journey. No pressure, just an offer.

Thanks 😊 When I went to Billy Diamond Highway I start going so fast, the road was so smooth. My friend couldn’t cut up with me.😂 And I think it will be a good idea to get together and talk about TT. I didn’t see any videos with two different KZbinrs with different point of view talking about that road. I think this will be really good for future riders trying to attempt to reach the end of this this lovely gravel road.

Thanks for this video. I loved riding the Billy Diamond Highway, I did need fuel between 381 and Matagami, on the way back. We got to 381 via the North and Muskahs Roads. We camped both ways in the Relais 381 parking lot. It was a happening place. I had the best poutine ever at Relais 381, both times! I wish that I had a drone. This landscape would be the perfect place for it. We ate at the Retro Daze Café in Chisasibi, and the wings were great! Your hotel room in Chisasibi looked great! I'm looking forward to watching the next episode. Take care Dave

Billy Diamond Highway it was totally amazing ride. And yes, you are right with the drone. It will be so many amazing images. The only problem I had my drone was acting up on me and I got only a few videos from in. We stay both ways at Matagami campground. We didn’t even have to set up our tents. We just sleep in that little hot/library that they have. Warm no mosquitoes and showers right beside it.😃 Thank you very much for watching and liking my video ❤️ Cheers Mac

To check the oil level, you have to let the motorcycle warm up for 3 to 5 minutes and then wait to look at the dipstick for 2 to 3 minutes. If you stop the motorcycle and look at the dipstick after 20 seconds, not all the oil will be in the crankcase. and you will be measuring wrong. It probably has extra oil.

@falcuspluscameraАй бұрын
Yes, bearings because some of the Africa twins have little issues with the bearings. And they are not big and heavy you can always squeeze them somewhere. We are 585 km from the nearest town. So better have them and not need them🤪
@DiegoAstorgaАй бұрын
@@falcuspluscameraI ride an older F650GS. Depending on the kind of trip I perform a deep maintenance job before going out, and I change the bearings in advance sometimes, even if they don't show signs of wear or damage. Instead of bringing extra bearings and tools, I carry a bottle of a good wine.
