One of the greatest Irish Runners .Enjoyed all his indoor races on youtube.He has the Irish Mile record ,Irish 1500m record ,he also was the 2nd fastest indoor miler in the world .He is still 16th on the all time list of indoor mile times.He finished ahead of greats like Steve Scott ,Sydney Maree and John Walker .A great ambassodor for Longford and Ireland.Great podcast Stan really enjoyed it,interesting and varied queations

Great listen. Phenomenal athlete. Played against Trevor in u-14 + u-16 for Slashers and he was our nemises🙈 No exaggeration we looked at him like a Messi figure....how do we stop this fella. We didnt😂

2 great lads, great role models for all young people in the county, went to primary school (Garrowhill) with their fathers Tommy and the late Terry (rip) & their uncle Jimmy, 3 great men on and off the field, all 3 won county senior championships with our club Clonguish as well as Killoe. Great memories. Well done Sean on your excellent podcasts, keep them coming.
