We bought ours for $350,000 brand new. It’s a stand alone home in green space with water across the road. Our home is worth around 700,000 now. I love living here and don’t plan on leaving anytime soon.

I think if you're going to give a tour about a city you should do a little research. Just ask a local about the best places to eat on 25th Street. There's even a walking tour you can listen to that tells the history of it and the buildings that you can listen to while walking up and down the street. It's on the Ogden site. It would make you come off as more professional. It's really not that hard.

Ogden is called the crossroads of the west (because of the railroads) not salt lake. It's also the only major utah city not founded by the Mormon church.

man a big con to the people who are not used to live 9 months in a row with Snow, is that here in Nothern Utah it won't stop snowing ever. For example, we have been having a storm since yesterday morning and hasn't stop yet, yes, in May..... funny thing is that snow will probably disappear in a couple of days, but in the middle of September it will be back again, yes, it starts to snow in September in Utah... so if you are into outdoor activities that do not involve Snow, this is certainly not a state for you. oh, btw, skiing/snowboarding in Utah is probably the most expensive place in the world to think about practicing one of those winter sports, don't believe me?, check out the Deer Valley resort season passes, the Ikon Pass, the solitude season pass, etc..... good luck trying to afford that here.... I think that something that would make this state perfect would be having the possibility to connect the north with the south (where it barely snows) faster, like with a high-speed train or something like that, but at this point if you decide to live in the south, you are literally in the middle of nowhere, closest airport is 2 hours away and is not even located in Utah anymore...

Hello I hope you are well. I researched your channel and found that your channel has some problems. You need to customize your channel to increase views, subscribers and even monetization. If your channel is a little optimized and if the videos are SEO then your channel will rank very fast and your channel will grow. Your channel SEO is very low.By implementing these KZbin SEO strategies, you can improve your video's visibility, attract more viewers, and ultimately grow your channel. I'd love to hear your thoughts on these tips and how you plan to optimize your KZbin videos for better results. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need further assistance. Thanks & regards

What I'm worried about is, when I was researching SoCal to move to, the same thing was sold to me regarding surf breaks, being a surfer (I also snowboard). However, as most people in SoCal realize or already know, anything worth doing is extremely overcrowded to the point that you rarely do it. If SLC has 10 amazing ski resorts within an hour, that sounds amazing, but will it become SoCal unenjoyable due to overcrowding or is it already?
@SLCliving
@SLCliving 10 ай бұрын
Colorado has the worst lift lines that I’ve ever seen. We get really crowded during the holidays but if it’s a holiday and lots of new snow has fallen you can always go to snowbasin, Sundance, powder mountain, or deer valley to get away from the worst lift lines.

No offense you should probably not talk about religion if you aren't going to respect people's beliefs. LDS has 90% of the population because of the western expansion but again it's not a con just because you don't believe in Mormonism doesn't mean it's bad. It's like banishing the Amish community like come on.
@SLCliving
@SLCliving 11 ай бұрын
I appreciate you voicing your opinion. I believe what I mention in the video really highlights the benefits of the LDS community local to Utah but I do see how even labeling it as a con is insulting. I apologize for that, and won't make the same mistake twice.
@colemanharris5950
@colemanharris5950 11 ай бұрын
Mormons are disproportionately represented in the states’ positions and they literally tell their high population percentage how god wants them to vote on issues like medical marijuana during ward meetings. Utah is probably the closest the United States has to being a theocracy. There are good things about Mormons too. The family oriented culture is nice, and it keeps Utah clean and safe. Again, that also feeds into controlling others though (Zion Curtain and all). For most non-Mormons who come to Utah I think they would probably look at it as a con.

the toxic lakes close to losing most water and threatening the whole region with a slow death might be a negative i think 🤔😄
@SLCliving
@SLCliving Жыл бұрын
It certainly is, but also extremely unlikely because as you also mentioned it would affect the whole west coast. There are many very large companies and a certain religious faction ;) here that have too much money invested in this area to let it get to that state. The fix will be incentivising farmers to use less water and incentivise them to grow crops that use less water. Industry and homeowners use a very small amount of the water that ends up in the Great Salt Lake. When you look at the data the direct impact comes from agriculture.
