George would be a great asset to the LO Village Council. I know George to be well reasoned in his opinions, thorough, and he has both detail orientation, strategic vision, and a clear communication style. These are great combinations in an elected leader.

So glad to hear the land isn't going to be sold for some more apartment buildings. The farmer's market and community spaces sound like a plan to do things right. Just go easy on the parking and take advantage of those old great buildings and natural elements so it's turned into something the whole Lake Orion community can be proud of! Also, it would be a shame if those signs and artwork were removed from the property. They NEED to stay and be integrated as the cornerstones of the overall design.

I used to travel around the country on business trips with William E Scripps II. Bill would regale me with stories about his Grandfather, father and when he lived at the Scripps Mansion as a young boy.
