It is not Trivandrum or त्रिवेण्ड्रम. Britishers were lazy and even they don't want to twist their tongue to say THIRUVANANTHAPURAM , it is तिरुवनंतपुरम = तिरु + अनंत + पुरम . तिरु stands for श्री in Malayalam, अनंत = अनंत पद्मनाभ which is the main deity of Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple. पुरम = वास स्थान or city of residence. THE CITY OF SHRI ANANTHA= तिरुवनंतपुरम . Lord Vishnu lying on the back (अनंत शयन) on Aadi Shesh Nag(आदि शेषनाग) while Brahma on the lotus(पद्म) that emerged from the navel(नाभि) of Vishnu. lotus(पद्म) emerged from navel(नाभि) = पद्मनाभ.

As a Keralite,I recommend tourists to visit Kerala from October till middle of March which happens to be the best season.The hot summer season in Kerala is from second half of March till May last which is off-season. Another option is to visit Kerala from June till September, but mind you, it will be the monsoon season.

Budget totally depends on hotel category and how soon you book it.. For us it costed 30000-40000 per head for 7days including kovallam. Hope it answers all your queries

Yes, if you have experience on driving on snow.. you can try.. you can get parking if you book hotel at lower auli..

Video is of Oct month and Weather will be okay in March.. Until and unless its not flood like situation in Kerala, you can definitely go there. Tell me which side you are planning to go.. mountain side, beach side or both
