I love when you were discussing how the schools teach the opposite of the Ravenwood schools philosophies you didn't mention Spirit. That's prolly cause it's the singular school that is a genuine mirror of it's Ravenwood equivalent, Death. And Edna doesn't seem entirely incompetent like most of the other teachers either, I actually love her.

I like how the characterizations of Fire and Ember dont conflict with each other, (other than how it characterizes its practioners). Fire as an Element can be both a force of destruction, as described in Ravenwood. As well as a force of Creation as described at Pigswig.

super cool and very interesting, wonder if harmony magic could become a similar aspect of the game compared to shadow magic. Maybe we could choose between using shadow pips or harmony pips as they are two different forces.

ravenwood teaches you how to use the tank, pigswick teaches you the how and why that tank operates. honestly it is one of the best aspects of the lore, as if the two schools (or really anyone else) worked together they could make magic that is vastly better than anything currently around, with pigswick graduates telling the how, while the ravenwood and others do the actual magic that most of the teachers in pigswick are from species that aren't great at their own magic but ARE great at understanding it as it flows in them is a massive advantage to teaching others to not see magic as some mystic force but something you can truly understand with study

Cool video. When it comes to the tree minders they're really cool. After the dragonspyre/ treeminder war, we find out that the dragonspyre forces were completely wiped out by the treeminders. However, having angered bartleby by engaging in warfare, they are basically kicked out of the raven woods, and choose to take what few remain of them back to avalon, their original homeworld. I think druids are implied to be the direct descendants of the treeminders. Also, fun fact, Morganthe and her brother Sir Mallory were born in the druid village of dundara, potentially making them treeminder descendants. It's also stated by ashley the fire tree, near the end of the catacombs quest line, that a treeminder named Auralius Ambrosis was the one who gifted the spell tree saplings to dragonspyre. So yea, a possible relation to merle ambrose was also a treeminder, probably, mostlikely, but most assuredly not 100% stated lol Prince vigor on the other hand wasn't really acting in dragonspyre's interest when he fled dragonspyre in search of the spell trees. He actually intended to leave dragonspyre all together, due to rhydall's plague, in order to create a new dragonspyre, believing that his home world of dragonspyre was falling to ruin due to the plague and the revolution brewing form the masses of dragonspyre. The catacombs as a whole is such a cool quest line with really awesome lore bits about dragonspyre.

Would love to see some Astral and shadow weaving

I think that the schools eaxh represent Philosophies, and just like our real world, there are many interpretations of things within our world. I always viewed their way of magic as valid, but not what I believe.
