I doubt anybody knows this little known fact..... but this gig was part of a Festival - "Bognor Rox" which due to whatever reasons wasn't held in Bognor that year & went ahead up the road in Fontwell. .... so Johnny @ 'From a Twisted Mind' has played at 3 venues that the Stranglers played!!

I saw the place where I was born 67 years ago! Broomside road, now a scrap yard. Also my uncle Jimmies hoose in Park street, and Bonnyside road where I did a paper round for a quid a week, and froze ma nuts off.

I heard them.on the radio in 1977 as a 12 year old snd l was hooked and obsessed. Don't think a better band has come out of the UK or USA since then.

I actually saw this LIVE on telly when I lived in Liverpool, what a great time to be alive! My Grandad and I WERE drinking Worthington E I think it was. RIP Grandad Davies! 🙏
