Greetings. I have the 94 C4 and my fob crashed. I just purchased a rare brand new fob for the 93 (orange letters) but it's not programming. Is that fob specific to the 93 or is it just the orange words that's different? I did buy another brand new clip style case regular remote and sent the orange letters back.

Ok, definitely have to take the motor assembly off for the passenger side to open the gear housing. But maybe not the drivers side?

Hi, thanks for the video. I did the drivers side yesterday. Works great. I plan on doing the passenger side today. I plan on following the same steps but after looking at it - is it possible to just remove the motor cover screws and the split pin to do this repair? In other words, leave the motor and gear housing connected to the headlight assembly. The most time consuming steps were associated with removing and re-assembling the motor assembly to the bracketry. Taking it further - is it possible to do the repair without removing the headlamp assembly from the vehicle? I know, its nicer to work on this on a bench. But just curious.

I tried to tackle this today and I got the pin and first bolt out in 5 hours. The second bolt is completely stuck. Not sure what to do.

Basically the difference between the ZR1 and basemodel is the engine that's pretty much it except for the 90 you have some body difference but everything went the same in 91 as far as appearance.

Hey I am in the process of swapping my C4 seats to a black leather power C5 seats, how to I work in the power connections, the plugs are different.

In the video you said the suspension is 59 1/2 on early and 611/2 on later model but I always thought the front suspension is 59 1/2 on early 60 1/2 on later and for the rear 60 1/2 early and 61 /12 for later . you also mention that, the extension of the rear was done replacing the knuckle. The knuckle are dffrentt due to the abs and the diameter of the stub shaft, that's true.My understanding is that it was done using a longer stub shaft in the knuckle and a thicker brake caliper bracket.

Sorry I didn't watch your video, I watched another, and they did not explain the passenger's side being different. I actually thought it was an aftermarket motor figuring it should be the same as the driver's side. The pin was the hardest part of the job.

Thank you for this excellent video. You are easy to follow along and could understand your process clearly. May I volunteer a small idea... about driving the slotted spring pin during reassembly (minute 22:32)? I used a channel lock pliers to squeeze/press the pin into the hole and it worked pretty well for both headlights. Thank again.

Thanks for the great video! I followed your directions to the t, did the left one last week and the right one this week. Easy peasy. Got my bushings from AutoZone use the ones that were made for a Ford window regulator. They work like a charm and my headlights due too! Thank you
