This guy looks like a fraud, not a Sensei. At least Sensei Izo Ichikawa from Kyoto Ninja Dojo and Store can actually fight. I'm not so sure about this guy... Please post some combat skills next time, not another weirdo video.

This is getting quite ridiculous. Everybody already knows how to stab with a nail aka Bo-Shuriken like a knife. I haven't seen this Sensei show any fighting skills, just lots of weird nonsense like how to walk on top of your own hands, how to drink from a scarf, using a saya on top of a Katana as a sensor in the dark... Show us some actual fighting skills like Jiu Jitsu/Karate/Aikido or at least a good Katana Kata if you're not a fraud.

true, true, but there is the common stab, and there is the NINJA stab ! With the latter, the bo-shuriken briefly transforms into a ninja-wand, which will make the victim's corpse vanish after a while so that the proud shinobi won't leave any clue behind. Just like in this video, it is all about deception...

Well a fake master cant hit his groin without feeling pain, or use the rarest weapons, or move his shoulder bones, or having a collection of weapons made in edo period, soo please think before talking, a fake master is hatsumi , who uses "fake" taijutsu that ninjas wouldn't use, and still western people belive in such stupid stuff

Nothing but greatness and realizes he is who he is (I am) once a pupil, the master, and knows he's the all! It starts at home which is within, to gain this you must first master self control.... It's all about balance and innerstanding. I'm not trying to sound smart, I just know!

Master Kawakami-san! Tell us more about Chinese ninjas. I would like to see a video or episodes dedicated to Chinese ninjas in which you talk about ninjas from elder China. Is it possible that ninjas from elder China spread throughout all Asian countries?

@@Dragonborn2024 I didn't say they were literally called ninjas. Ninjas had many different names. The founders of their organization have no name at all. I guess that their origins originate in some monasteries, but which ones is unclear. I don't think historical information about them is lost. Most likely, information about them is deliberately hidden or destroyed by them themselves, this is why they are called as "those who follow a hidden path", "invisible ones", etc. They were doing things that no one should ever find out about. However, the path they follow allows them to better understand what essence of the truth is. It is quite possible that they knew the essence of the truth, which is lost today. Even if they originated in the Tang Dynasty, who were their predecessors? Who were the creators?

@@Dragonborn2024 Another question! Why were ninjas called immortals? Did they know the secret of eternal life? This also indicates that they probably originated from Taoist monasteries, because only Taoists sought to discover the secret of eternal life.

Ninjutsu training workshop in China! Konnichiwa Master Kawakami-san! Does Ninjutsu originate in China? In elder China, there were ninjas, but they were called differently. Are Taoist mountain monasteries the birthplace of first ninjas?

I have a question. At the beginning, he both said that ninja were taught not to believe in fortune telling and then said that they sometimes used it for themselves. Did I miss something? Was that a mistranslation? I don't think he would have said two contradicting statements.

Quite a few ninjas did not do the hollywood stuff we see on TV. They would act as informants and wander around towns collecting information to send back to their handler. Think of them more as secret service agents rather than warriors. These techniques (throwing the shuriken) would be more common in samurais, but ninjas might have trained in their use. It's very hard to give a definitive answer because of how broad and diverse ninjas were. Think of police officers. Not every police officer patrols in a car, some use a bike, other walk, some don't even walk the streets, rather a prison.

@keptleroymg6877 This is not a martial arts school. It's a scam, built around a tourist trap "ninja museum". The man who is supposed to be a "ninja grandmaster" is demonstrably lacking in skills, and no, it doesn't all boil down to how in-shape he is or is not. Period illustrations (as well as antique suits of armor) prove that most samurai, especially prior to the Edo period, were actually somewhat portly.
