I went in a plane like that jumping from Anchorage to Kenai Alaska. Shook so hard my eyeballs almost dropped out of my eye sockets. Don’t think I’ll do that again. New Orleans is a place I’ll do again! I agree with your assessment regarding the food👍

We’re planning to do in Alaska trip arriving at Anchorage last week of July going into August. We’re going with two other couples each couple has their own RV, one of the couples has been in Alaska numerous times and his wife lives in Alaska so they’re going to tour us around, looking forward to it.

Vasoline on rubber helps seals plug

Petroleum on rubber may not be a good thing, due to petroleum breaking down the rubber. But, that is my opinion it may hold true or may not best bet is to use silicone grease. thanks for watching.

What size was the extension built-in on the magnetic socket? I'm guessing 6 inches... Correct?

You shouldn’t ever screw any spark plug into a aluminum head without putting Anti-Seize on the threads of new spark plug!

It was Unfortunate I only had one battery so I couldn’t continue filming the rest of our fishing trip, it was actually a really good day. First time in our life time that we caught that many peacocks, for me and Carlos

Thanks for the video perfectly explained thank you for the video. It was fun changing them out I have an 8 cylinder 5.7 tundra and had not changed the plugs in about 100 and 150,000 miles ago dealer wanted $369.00 and it was so easy I did it in under 1hour 15 mins. I used the NGK Iridium 6699. I paid once before in 2014 to get them swapped. 👍

Do you like using anti seize grease and grease for the spark boot? You did a very nice detail job on the engine bay any tips? I'm afraid of killing the electrical.

Yes a light coat, And as far as engine bay I just use a leaf blower and may be a little wax on plastic covering. Thanks for watching

In Fact I no longer have this truck I sold this truck to a good friend of mine’s for $5000 you may want to try with AutoZone

Also suggested to replace the plugs with spark plugs. Use anti seize compound on each plug. Check (electronically) each coil to make sure that is not an issue.

Iridium plugs are not capable of having their gaps adjusted like the old steel carbon plugs that you had to gap all of them every 10k miles.

does not look like my 5.7, the 5.7 is a bit tougher, the silicone lube and anti seize are a must do, just saying my tundra came from Canada and i wish it looked as clean as yours, good job

Hi Rich, I’m not to sure of what you are stating in the difference between the tundra. But, yes I do agree in using anti seize for the job. Sadly, I no longer owned this vehicle I sold it a couple years back to a friend for $5000 thanks for watching
