Both of these are set in the future. Besides, there really is no reason needed for any collaboration to happen. If the creators agree, then it happens.

I understand they needed something to put on their plate but that’s just a shallow excuse that everyone, like I mean every gaming companies out there, can make up with. Need to earn some money with little to no effort? Put a “surprise mechanics” on it. Still not enough cash flowing in your pocket? Lock every *insert random basic game mechanic name here* slots and basic contents available and let the players pay for it. *_sigh_* When did some players forgot that games are meant to be fun and good pastime rather than a money tree and grinding f***fest? To everyone else: On the part where the creators/developers agreeing on the collab, that I have no complaint on it. It’s just that if I were one of them developers, is there any valid or sensible reasons for doing this other than money and/or attention? Doesn’t make sense to me since in VA-11 HALL-A, you’re mostly in the sidelines rather than the frontlines, no pun intended. It’s like trying to put Sims and Tetris into one blender and you don’t know or even understand how you feel about the end result. Now, if you like crossover events like these, don’t let me stop you. In fact, go for it. But if I have any say on this matter, it’s that in this case, they picked the wrong title to collab with. Now, if I were the one who had the slightest chance of picking any games available in this world for Girls Frontline to collab with, that would be ‘Shooting Girl’ from DMM GAMES. Now, I’ll admit that I haven’t played these two games fully but do you know what these two games have in common? GIRLS WITH F@%$ING GUNS, BIG OR SMALL. Now, what do you think about that? Other than that, my second best bet would be Long Gone Days because they make children go ‘pew pew’ and leave a trail of massacre behind. Now, about Shooting Girl. If you’re planning to play it, I haven’t heard anything about the original site to play it since it’s too ‘foreign’ for me but if you’re wondering if that game got an ENG translation... Yeah, it did got one but sadly, THOSE NUTAKU NUTJOBS DECIDED TO DISCONTINUE IT BECAUSE REASONS! All of my progress and grinding, POFF, gone. Sorry if I seem to be rambling at this point but this is one of the reason why I’m skeptical to this whole thing now. I get that you’re invested to this game but I don’t want the others to suffer the same fate that I did. I’ve resolved myself to get a copy of a game at this point, whether hard or digital. Still, don’t let stop you from playing this because if you’re having fun, that’s all that matters.
