Chasing myths will never result in creditable finds, it will just make more new myths built on top of the old myths

Caleb Rhoades wasn't that stupid, he didn't tell anyone where the mine was & took an oath with the Ute Chief Wakara not to tell or show anyone about the location. Also, it would be on Ute land & that land is off limits to any non-Ute member. Possibly the same land the Mormon Church has been trying to steal from the Ute Tribe for years. So, how I see it either Caleb Rhoades wasn't a man of his word as the most trusted Mormon man of Brigham Young or the Map is a bunch of Horse Crap. I believe the latter & I'm not a Mormon.

Yes, it is true, or at least it is widely accepted that in 1855, Caleb took the same oath his father (Thomas) did with Chief Walkara. Apparently Thomas was sick and Caleb took over retrieving the gold. (Or ore?) Chief Walkara died that same year and his brother Arapeen honored the oath Caleb and Thomas made with Walkara. Also, this same year Thomas petitioned and received a huge land grant which is where the Kamas valley is and Caleb and Thomas worked several gold mines in that area. It is also rumored that Caleb found other Spanish mines while out getting gold from the (sacred) mines of the Utes. It is these mines believe Caleb made maps of. I would like to believe Caleb kept his word to Chief Walkara and Arapeen, especially when he had other Spanish mines to get gold and ore from. As a side note, Arapeen's successor Chief Tabby denied them access to the Utes sacred mines. Thank you for your thoughts and comments about this subject. I definitely had only scratched the surface. This map that was talked about in this video, I believe, is not a map to one of the sacred mines of the Utes, but rather a map to some of Caleb 's other Spanish mines he found. Thank you again for your comments.

Already been found in the 60's & 70's by dowsing for gold with a pure one-tenth ounce dowsing rod load attached on the elevated acetylene welding rod of the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod. You need to see the extremely fast helicoptering spinning on top of the gold vein that was mined by the Spanish and then Tom & Kaleb Rhodes, until the new Ute Indian Chief kicked Kaleb Rhoades out of the Uinta's and filled in the 300 foot shaft with glacier rock, (300 feet of glacier rocks cover the gold veins). The ORO 1856 PINE TREE was axe cut down with the Spanish and Rhoades carvings facing into the dirt and rocks requiring digging underneath the four foot diameter tree for reading. Then when we were not there, the New Paint Mine Road was carved and bulldozed through the thick growing pine trees with the huge ORO 1856 PINE TREE being pulled down our access road to the new Paint Mine Road for hauling to the Vernal Saw Mill. Now you know the TRUE FACTS that TRUMP any myths about the Rhoades Pine Mine or Spanish ORO Mine. Soon more true facts will be shown on KZbin Videos. If you are not a professional dowser knowing how to dowse with the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod, you will never locate the Spanish ORO/Rhoades Pine Tree Mine. About the only truth to some of these Pine Mine myths is it is west of Moon Lake. There are two other close locations that the Spaniards mined extremely high grade precious metals with all other mines being just "white man" prospects holes and tunnels following trace mineralization in the search something worth money, with nothing but the cost of looking with no returns. The Spanish, Tom & Kaleb Rhoades and I know the physics involved in dowsing with using only physics by eliminating any metaphysics interference in professional dowsing. This is how we precisely locate and decipher high grade precious metal deposits with bypassing the low grade and trace sought mineralization.

From what I was told and understand, sometime between June B. having the claim and Gary Holt claiming that site, the Forest Service or some other Government agency bulldozed that whole area and covered the entrance. I believe they also brought in extra fill to do that. So it looked very different from when I first saw that mine. It appears Gary has done a lot of work opening it back up.

This seems to be a Box Canyon with one entrance. Then off to the side is a lake which is made by water running down the slopes of steep walls also in this box canyon. Assuredly it’s in a box canyon.

I was taken to the lower end of the Yellow Ledges a few years ago by a Prospector/geologist. He said the area had a high concentration of Arsenic. It had killed the vegetation and a few animals (bones scattered around). He thought there was a silver deposit a little bit to the west.

Now if the map was wrong and it was a map of Utah, then how did Carlsbad caverns get in Utah? How did Albuquerque get in Utah? How did truth or consequences get in Utah aqua Negra people aqua Negra black water he did not call it late because it is not late. It is a collection of ponds Black water on old Spanish maps nowhere on any map and I have looked at hundreds and hundreds and hundreds does it mention the word Negra And if you’re able to read the letter and you are any good at math, you will find that the math of what the treasure is actually works out. Unfortunately, I’m from Canada and I can’t go there, but knowing that you guys are on the job in Utah, I know that this treasure will be safe until someone takes my advice that this is new Mexico home of the Utes, the natives of the Great basin

Thanks for your comment. You are absolutely correct that if the maps are pointing to New Mexico, it will never be found in Utah. I would be happy to look at your research. Do you have any Google Earth .KMZ files, or map overlays to support your theory? I had to block your last comment because of the swear word that was used. Please repost it without the swear word if you wish. Thank you for your insight. Look forward to hearing from you more!

I've searched for this old Spanish fort location off and on for many years. I think I've been close but at first I was looking on the wrong side of a particular ridge. After closer examination of the area on Google Earth I think I've got a much better location for the site. There's a rock ledge about 10 to 15 feet high as described in the story, at a spot where you can see into Strawberry Valley and back over to Heber Valley. And below the ledge to the east, as described, there are several depressions in the ground. And to confirm this location I found the jagged ridge of rock that looks like a dinosaur's back that sticks up along the ridge! I wanted to go out on 4 wheelers last year to check it out but didn't make it. I'll probably go this coming summer. Trigace

Well hopefully whoever finds something they can video tape it. Probably a good idea to record it or document it without exposing the location to prevent the authorities from taking it and hiding it.

One thing idk the laws or anything but if you find a mummy you could take three hairs and send it to three different labs for dna testing. I was reading how Native Americans were fighting for skeletons in Harvard to be sent home. I think they even want their knives etc. but the article said they wanted to do dna testing but haven’t and Native Americans were against it. It’s like so mind boggling. Let’s dig up bodies in Europe, and mummies in Egypt and everywhere except for the U.S. I can understand burying the dead out of respect but the tools etc in museums being sent back like makes it seem that academic field shouldn’t have anything to study or show in museums. It’s like if the law sends back all Native American artifacts etc. why be a hypocrite and then let the Smithsonian and Harvard or penn etc keep and display Egyptian artifacts and mummies? Like if we’re going to respect natives here we should respect natives everywhere including Egypt and send everything back. Some countries have tried to get things back from the UK. I think though if they send some things back then they’ll have to send everything back. Like in Germany they got baals temple or something then nazis took from the Middle East. A video by a Christian preacher shows that and I was like that’s super interesting the nazis would remove and reassemble the stairs etc of a temple to Baal I believe it was.

It is frustrating for sure. Like Dan said we will document the hell out of the site (s) before turning it over to the State or Feds. Then they can do what they think they need to do. Thank you for your comments!!!
